The longtime home of Cardinals baseball moves to a new location, offering fans dramatic views of the Gateway Arch and the downtown skyline..
In Short
The new Busch Stadium opened in April 2006, replacing the nearby stadium with a modern facility and new amenities. The new ballpark has a total capacity of 46,000 with wider concourses all around, elevators and escalators between levels, and perfect baseball sight lines for all seats in the park. Cards fans also enjoy improved concessions and family entertainment options.
Running Out of Time. This landmark is soon to be gone. Visit now for one of the last chances to see the Great Cardinals play here! Always a great crowd, get good seats early.
you gotta go at least once. Games at Busch Stadium are great. There's always a good crowd; not an empty stadium. People really get into the game. St Louis loves their Cardinals so its great. Of course the food and stuff is expensive and you will have to pay for parking somewhere. (the further away it is; the cheaper it is) I really like going to games at Busch. They've got everything from box seats, the bleachers, to the nose bleed section. You can take the metrolink if you want to avoid parking and traffic. But i've never had problems with traffic.
Old-School St. Louis. Busch is a testament to St. Louis' great athletic traditions. I grew up going to Cards games here, and I still try to make a few when I'm in town to visit friends and family. It's not the most modern stadium, and the seats are the most comfortable, but catching a game is always a good group activity.
