I love this place. Everyone I know enjoys going here over and over agian. Everytime you go you find something new. It may just be a giant playplace, but it is constructed of interesting materials and very beautiful.

Huge Disappointment. City museum is in fact not a museum. It is merely a large playground with few exhibits or attractions. It consists almost entirely of endless tunnels, slides and playground equipment. The World Aquarium exhibit is on par with a dishevelled discount pet shop. If you are seeking an indoor playground for 5 year olds you may be mildy, albeit it transiently, amused by this attraction. Don't waste your money ... St. Louis has many world class free museums!

So much to see!. This place is great for adults and kids. Love the main level with the mosaic floor, fish tank, tunnels... Love the slides, one made from conveyor rollers. Kids love the train, circus show and area to run up and down ramps. There was an exhibit of items found buried where old outhouses used to be, interesting. I love this place!

Lots of fun. The city museum is a great place to go and just have fun and relax. It truly is a giant playground. Some friends and I went there one night and we all had a blast. My friends and I are in our early 20s, and this is a place that allows you to feel like a kid again. I was amazed to see how many people our age were there. This is a definite must do in St. Louis.

This fascinating, interactive fun-house, imagined by local artist Bob Cassilly, has received national attention for providing kids and adults a dizzying array of larger-than-life installations made exclusively of recycled materials. Real castle turrets, fire engines and abandoned planes are placed in impossibly precarious configurations for your exploring enjoyment. On weekend nights the Museum is open till 1am, operating two bars for the grownups--one inside a 19th-century cabin.

Amazing place. My sister and I found this museum by chance on a roadtrip. This is the most amazing place we have been to. It was great how you could run around the first floor discovering hundreds of things to do. We recomended this place to all our friends. This is the best kind of museum where everything is hands on.

risingprice. The children love the museum but I hate that the prices went up. It now costs to park and it cost extra to do certain things. I loved it when it was affordable to take you family.

city museum. I loved the city museum it was a whole lot of fun I went there when it first opened for a field trip in sixth grade and I loved it

Urban Dwelling. There is no place like it. Not so great since the "takeover" of last spring, but still worth the trip.

Nothing else like it. If the City Museum doesn't win...There is not other museum like it anywhere and it's always changing. Everytime I go there, I learn something new. It's so kid friendly. Unlike other museums where you're not supposed to touch anything, the first floor was built to touch and climb on.
