Tips for Arcelia's Mexicana Restaurant

Wonderful family restaurant. We took a big (12 people) family gathering there on a Sunday afternoon. We called ahead, and they had a table set up for us pronto. Great food (no plain old TexMex here) at reasonable prices. And the chips & salsa are great. Try the hot - it's not too bad and has lots of flavor!

good food, good price. Frequently eat lunch @Arcelia's. Food is always good, as well as the service. They have a good variety of Mexican food...much better than any chain.

Decent Mexican. I just moved from San Antonio, so I'm pretty spoiled on Tex-Mex. However, Arcelia's delivers pretty decent Mexican at good pricces. The empanadas are pretty good. Lafayette Square location is neat. Has outdoor seating in nice weather. I experienced long waits on Friday and Saturday. Even the bar was standing room only.
