In Short – Norton's sets Soulard's blue-collar standard, with piped-in Jimmy Buffet tunes, traditional bar food and Cajun fare, young and indifferent staff and the occasional too-noisy patron. The cafe's atmosphere, especially the sprawling, multi-level patio garden, makes it a great place to enjoy a bucket of beers and a pound of peel-and-eat shrimp on a warm spring afternoon. The patio bars have TV screens stationed throughout, the better to get some sun while cheering on the Cards. –

crab cakes

by cheyesmom

Came in for the first time for my bday and loved this place!!! We felt like we were in New Orleans. The crab cakes are wonderful. We had the best service, our server Jen was funny and we will ask for her section the next time we go. We went for dinner and ended up sitting there and having cocktails all night. A great place to celebrate or go and sit with the girls. Make sure to ask for Jen's section!!!
