Great Place!!. Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always good....favorites include gumbo, fried chicken, tuna, risotto, and mached potatoes. The blueberry bread pudding is the best in town. We like Almonds for special occasions or just a quick meal before a movie. Casual and comfortable. Small, family owned business with good service and good food. Like eating in your own kitchen but the food is good!

Awesome place for consistently great food. The atmosphere is good, the food is great, and the staff warm and personable. You know that when you go to Almond's, the gumbo is always going to be hot, delicious, and bottomless, the BBQ Shrimp perfectly cooked, longing for bread to sop up the broth, and the rest of the food will taste as delicious as the last time you were there.

Great Place!. We love this restaurant...good food, affordable prices, friendly service!! We went to Almonds a couple of months ago and now we are regulars. Love the food....my husband has to have his Pan Fried Chicken fix. The gumbo, risotto, pasta and chopped salad are great. This is truly "comfort" food..best mashed potatoes in town. The wine list is also very reasonable. Our kids also love this restaurant. The owners truly care about your dining experience. We have only had good meals here. We constantly take our friends and family...so easy, no pretention. The casual atmosphere is a plus. Definitely a find for us.

It's only a bargain if you enjoy it.. We chose this restaurant on Dine for Life night as an excuse to try something new. To say that we found the wait staff inattentive is an understatment. I literally had to grab my server's arm to get her attention after we had been sitting for almost 20 mins. She stated that she would be right with us and proceeded to the wait station to fill a candy bowl full of chocolates. ??? Priorities anyone?

I found the food to by so-so. Although the prices were very reasonable we didn't enjoy the food very much so any sense of value was diminished. We had the pan fried chicken and the pork tenderloin. Both were overcooked and dry. Perhaps this was a result of sitting under a heat lamp while our server busy elsewhere. I am not sure.

We had really high expectations for this restaurant as it had been recommended by several sources. I think we will avoid it in the future.

Best Spot, Best People. There is no better value in St. Louis than at Almond's. One can have a bottle of wine, dinner, and dessert for less than $100. What's more important is the quality of the people that make this restaurant work.

Yes, the food is very good, but the people are even better.
