14 years and still great stuff. I have been dining at Cafe Napoli since I was roughly 16. Now that I'm 30, and no longer live in Stl, I always make it a point to stop by there when Im in town. The owner(and his family) always makes me and my guest feel at home and the food is always great. I live in NY now, and the plethera of Italian restaurants is at my beckon and call, to have a restaurant like this stand out, year after year is something to be noted. This is a great place!

OVERRATED. SOGGY, OVERCOOKED PASTA.. SHRIMP COOKED BEYOND TASTE... BLAND SAUCES... HOW DID THIS PLACE GET TO BE RATED SO HIGH?? BECAUSE ITS IN CLAYTON

Overrated. We headed to Cafe Napoli expecting a romantic evening, trendy atmosphere and exciting food. Our pasta dishes were pretty good, but our appetizer (artichokes) had almost no taste except for the salty canned broth that was dumped all over them. The crowd was more phony and pretentious than trendy, and the patio was less than romantic. The prices aren't bad for clayton, but better italian food can easily be found in STL for less. Overall, we were disappointed and do not plan on returning.

2ND BEST PATIO. You can't tell me that Cafe Napoli has the 2nd best

patio in the city. Anyone can tell that there is no ambience about concrete and a busy intersection.

A sure thing.. The staff is courteous and the food is excellent. Added to this are very reasonable prices. This is my choice for a first date restaurant. That way she is impressed with the quality and I can afford to do something after the meal. I favor the beef medallions. If dining on a Friday or Saturday, I recommend reservations. It gets busy.

Great place to be!. I have been going to Cafe Napoli for over 10 years and have become a custom to the great food and service I always receive. ..No matter how busy the restaurant is, Tony(the owner) always seems to great me and my family with a smile and his sincerity is is warm and welcomed.

I look forward to many nights to come!

Try the filet w/ Gorganzola or Veal Chop...excellent!

10. Cafe Napoli is a wonderful family owned Italian restaurant. The food is wonderful and the service is great.
