38.648666 -90.327369FABULOUS,FUN,FRIENDLY!!!!!!!. Since being sold to the new owner and under going new management, I have truly been impressed with this business! They are always friendly and constantly make accomidations for whatever you like. It amazes me how flexible they are for their clients. I have seen them do some crazy fun colors on other clients and then on me they take it down a couple of levels so that I am comfortable, but very stylish. I love walking in and smelling the Aveda products. The new manager, Julie (I think thats her name) was full of energy and set off positive vibes to everyone in the room. I have never had a bad visit and will continue to go there for their great service, cutting edge style, and professional staff. Great job J'Labii! The owner definitely has the right people running the place!
Great place to get your hair done. i've been goiung to this salon for the past 9 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The hairstylists are all very friendly and personable. they have professional colorists who do some of the most natural looking blonde highlights i've ever seen. they only use aveda products and work with you to find the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Not to mention their deep conditioning (or "glossing") which leaves your hair softer and shinier than you ever thought possible. It's a little pricey (starts at $35) but it's totally worth it if you care about your hair.
Wouldn't go back for a wax. I was able to get in for a Brazilian wax at the last minute when my regular lady was sick. The room was crowded, dirty, and not at all a "spa" atmosphere--I think they converted a closet. I was laying on paper like at the doctor and covered with paper towel off a roll rather than a cloth towel. The wax I got was incomplete. It's an expensive and painful endeavor to only get the job half done.
