Overall: Would return. Sheet whom I kiddn, I'll never do petty time anywhere else! Clayton, you've earned a fan, Bravo!

A pleasant mini-break.. Two English friends of mine recently had the pleasure of a two night mini-break here and both were disappointed with the establishment after having read some favourable reviews. I collected them after their stay and was given a warm welcome at Reception. The location was beautiful and the building quite ?Grand?, but both expected more of a ?fun atmosphere?, instead they felt that the public rooms were almost ?institutional?. Meal times in the rather noisy restaurant were not flexible enough and appeared designed to suit the staff rather than the guests. Some of the staff were a little unfriendly and sullen. The ?Spa? area had no treatments or services on offer. Management ensured they were given rooms close to each other, which were clean and comfortable although sparsely decorated, almost in the style of modern minimalism. The beds were lumpy and there were no hospitality trays. The decor throughout was felt to be a little ?cold and tasteless? and perhaps somewhat anonymous. Room service at night was non-existent, so if one wanted a pot of tea and sandwiches or even biscuits during the night, one would have to go hungry. Neither room was equipped with a Corby trouser press, WIFI or Aircon. With typical British stoicism neither of my friends complained, not wishing to be seen as overly-critical. An interesting point raised by one of my friends indicated that the noisy dining room experiences would be helped by a little back-ground music, perhaps a Jazz pianist or better yet a string quartet playing a little Bach or Beethoven. Overall it is felt that there is room for improvement. Finally, how about some Indian cuisine on the menu?

Rude and crabby people. Dear St Louis Justice Center.

I was extremely polite when I called to find out information on my husband last night. I was politely asking questions and being respectful and got a whole load of attitude back at me. Those people are meant to be bond specialists and I would have thought to have at least a little bit of niceness.

Great Stay---As Usual. Excellent location right in the heart of beautiful downtown Clayton. Easily accessible by public transportation (by the way, ST.L.Co.P.D. police cars have excellent leg room in the back seat). Excellent staff who remember your name each time you come back. They always do their best to make you feel welcome. The presentation upon arrival meets and exceeds that of all other similar facilities I have ever experienced. The accommodations were more clean and spacious other places I've stayed in the past. No detail is too small to be overlooked. Cannot say enough good things about my recent stay from the location, the views, the other guests, the dining fare... everything met and even exceeded my expectations. Even though I am a frequent guest, I always look forward to my stays. Will return again and again.

Romantic. I feel that over the yeras it has become a little run down, it adds to its charm. I will always remember the tender service offered by the guards, the intimate guest rooms, and chic modern decor.

It's where me and Blaine had our first kiss.

Best time I've served.. One of the finest jails in Missouri. Excellent educational programs, GED opportunities, low-cost laundry service. Located in desirable downtown Clayton, just blocks from gourmet eateries (although take-out can be difficult). Visitors welcome.
