I got attacked at mp oreillys. I got attacked by a group of men at M.P. O'Reilly's in Soulard. One of them put a series of six inch long quarter inch wide scratches in my face. My face may be permanently scarred. This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in ten years of going out to the bar. G-damned animals.

Billiards and dancing are the main attractions at this college-crowd "meet market" and pool club.. In Short
Half bar, half dance club, M.P. O'Reilly's is the place to see and be seen for the college crowd--there are plenty of recent grads, too. Innocuous pop--Sugar Ray, Dave Matthews--provides the energetic soundtrack for flirting. Guys decked out in cobalt-blue shirts and chinos flock around the pool tables, not so discreetly checking out each attractive coed who walks in.

Good Times. I've had some good times in this place. It's usually crowded. College crowd mostly. Good drinks, cold beer. Bottoms up. Bathrooms can be a pain to get to.

Best bar in St. Louis. MPO's is great. The bartenders are really good (and hot). A lot of young professionals and college students hang out here, so if you are looking for trashy, head to the Landing. All drinks are only $1.50, I don't think you can beat that anywhere. At first it seems like there are too many guys there, but as it gets later it definitely evens out as the dance floor gets going. Definitely try it out!

if u like to dance. I've only been on Thursday nights. It is really crowded. Lots of college age people. Its only like 3 dollars to get in. and i think they have cheap pitchers of beer. they have a dj playing really good dance music, a good mix of the top techno/dance songs and the popular hip hop stuff. if you dont like crowds though dont go. on the other side you can play pool. $3 isnt bad for a night of listening and dancing to good music.

Crowded and Cheesy. MPOs is so crowded, even if you just go with one other person, it is impossible to talk, or even look at the person because you have to constantly stand side by side. They have great drink specials, but the drinks are so weak it doesnt matter.

Fratastic. MP O's is super-cheesy. There are a lot more men than women there and all the guys look like meatheads.

MP's is so lame. MP's caters to a very superficial and pseudo-elitest crowd. It is simply a post-college Greek mixer where girls and guys check each other out. People are more into what they are wearing and there multi-color drinks then just hanging out with close friends. The bar is in an awesome location so I am not surprised that the place is filled on the weekends. Next time you want to go to a cool place go to RUE 13.
