Best Burgers and Pork Chops.. The Employees are GREAT. Christine is in the Kitchen on Friday and Saturday and MAN can she Cook. Reasonable Menu.Ask her about her cookie bouquet, makes a great gift. A late-night license and rowdy dancing makes this one of St. Louis' premier gay bars.. Room to Breath
A steadfast presence in St. Louis' gay scene, Magnolia's is raucous and welcoming, centrally located, but wonderfully private. Actually several bars in one, Mags encompasses a line of storefronts along Vandeventer Ave. Fabulous drag queens can be found in the cabaret and the Gateway Saloon caters to the leather crowd. The popular Niner Diner serves food till 2am. Drink specials, darts, karaoke, dance parties, "Queer as Folk" viewings and pageants are among the offerings that keep patrons busy.

Late Night Action
Mags possesses a coveted 3am license, and come 1:30am, the countless lots in the neighborhood get packed with cars. On weekends, a line stretches outside the bar, and once in, the place is crammed but never uncomfortable (unless you're a homophobe, in which case, be careful, because you'll be the first one to get your butt pinched). Although this is a gay bar, the vibe is footloose and fancy free for anyone who wants to dance, regardless of sexual preference.
