About a block off the bustling corner of Euclid and McPherson avenues, past the galleries, pubs and antique shops, lies Alice's Vintage Clothes. On its quiet corner of the West End, Alice's has been attracting a loyal following of fashion lovers for decades.

The Goods
Serious vintage shoppers peruse Alice's racks--the clothes are too fine and too expensive for your average thrifter. Chic black dresses from the '50s share the racks with beaded chiffon numbers from the '20s. Hats, jewelry, shoes, gloves and handbags are strewn on mannequins and hidden in drawers throughout the store. Men's clothes and accessories can be found, too. Sharkskin suits, military jackets and straw hats look as cool today as they did when they were made.
