I truly think some of these good reviews were written by the business or the owner himself. This is a very poorly run business, and the inside of the place looks like cheap hoosiers decorated it. I feel very cheap and hoosiery just standing inside of the place. Very poorly painted, with cheap paint dripping down from the walls, as if they did it themselves without hiring painters. The stairs going to the basement were not even finished after they built the stairwell, and the bathroom in the basement is always dirty. It reminds me of a bathroom in one of those old dirty city houses. The least they could do is get a new toilet that is not old, stained, and dirty. Their tanning lotion is EXTREMELY overpriced. Any of the other comments saying they have cheap lotion must have been written by individuals with mental disorders, people on drugs, or the business itself. Lotions are way too expensive, I always drive elsewhere to buy mine. The customer service is at times very poor. The girls working there act like they don't want to be there and you are bothering them by asking questions. Horrible customer service. The overweight, very eccentric owner insulted me and my appearance by cracking jokes. Very poor customer service. Very low-class place. Tanning salon for cheap hoosiers. Even the walls inside are painted poorly. This business is trash. Extremely upset that I gave ANY of my hard-earned money to this place. I am going elsewhere

DOUBLE CHARGED- They WILL Take Your Money!!!. DO NOT use this Tanning Salon! I was set-up on a Monthly Credit Card payment and was being doubled charged for over 7 months. It has been [3] months since I notified the company and have still yet to receive my reimbursement of over $175.00. I will never recommend this company due to the poor response & customer service from management. Be warned!!!

New Ownership, Great Change!!. West End Tan has a new owner now who really cares about the quality of the place. The staff is great as well at the prices. Lotions are cheaper than any salon I've been too. Not to mention all of the upgrades that are taking place there. I def found my place to tan!

Great place. Salon staff is awesome! They helped me get ready for my wedding. I couldn't help but get a membership since all of them are at good prices. I never burned and all of them are personable. All of the lotions there are extremely reasonable! I found my tanning salon..

Make You Feel Right At Home!. This is the best place to tan! The decor and employees make you feel right at home. Everyone is so friendly and outgoing. Radios in every room so you can listen to your favorite music while you tan. Students get discounts on packages all the time. No hassle with memberships! My favorite are bonus bucks. A certain percentage of the amount I spend on packages or lotion is like credit for me to use and buy more with. Very economical. I recommend this tanning salon to any one who is looking for a layed back place to tan with great customer service.

fan of west end tan. I'm not sure why this place is gettin so many bad reviews? My mother and myself go there all the time and its great! Beds are clean, the staff rocks and you dont have to buy packages, though i recommend it. Single tan or go for multiples but go there. you wont have regrets.

GO somewhere else..... I had a horrible experience here!!! The 1st time I went was right before I was leaving on vacation so I ended up buying a package....very STUPID!! The package, I bought was over priced and I got NO color from the bed! I tried to talk to one of the girls (think her name is Amanda) but she was so rude and so short that I ended up leaving. Just on her alone, I would not go back there even with tans still on my package! I know I could get a better tan, better cost, and better customer service somewhere else. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Highely Overrated. Service was fine, beds were clean. But they are extremely overpriced and their beds do not work. The last time I tanned there, 5 bulbs and all of the face lamps were out, and they make no effort to make sure the bulbs are new. For a good tan, look elsewhere!!!!!!!!

Good place to tan - not a chain!. Great Beds, friendly staff, no memberships or pressure. Good place to tan. They also have spray on tanning.
