I purchased a SUV from Toyota Ackerman and I regret that I ever did. There customer service was nasty. They acted as if they didn?t acknowledge me once I enter there place of business. After having this vehicle for two days the ABS light came on and the brakes were making this loud funny noise. Took it back to them and they couldn?t find anything wrong with it. So I took it to another dealership and they found the problem. Ackerman didn?t want to cooperate until I told them that I would call my lawyer. They agreed to pay half in order to fix the problem. I had just paid cash for this vehicle and wasn?t about to dish out anymore money. About a month later I found out that it had been in a accident and the dealership told me that the car was a one car owner and hadn?t had any accident. I would never send anyone I know to them.

I had a great experience at Ackerman Toyota. The interenet women helped me with all of the questions I had and gave me a great low price up front. I have had a few questions since buying my car and she has always helped me and been very friendly. I highly recomend working with her. You can contact her by emailing the dealership.

I went to Toyota Ackerman to do a diagnostic test on my 2001 Corolla, since the engine light came on. 15 minutes later the guy comes back to me and says I need a new catalytic converter and that the part and labor would cost around: $1,450. My jaw dropped, I said no and I walked out dazed. The engine light was off when I pulled it out of Ackerman, though I thought they just cleared the code for the catalytic converter and that it still needed to be replaced. I called around and after finding a price of $289 for part and labor at Comb's Auto I took it in. I told them what had happened and after they did an emissions test they told me that the catalytic converter was completely fine. The guy at Ackerman told me I may experience some poor performance and engine trouble if I let the catty go. I did experience some poor performance though this was in no way related to the catalytic converter as they implied. The only thing that may be needed is a few new injectors. Moral: Toyota Ackerman tried to rip me off!!!!!!!
