The first Hardee's opened as a walk-up burger restaurant in 1960 in Greenville, N.C. Today, the fast-food chain has locations across the United States and is spreading internationally. Big, beefy burgers--like the 1/3 pound Thickburger--are the stars, along with sides like fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Breakfast offerings range from Made From Scratch Biscuits to Big Country Platters: biscuit, pancake, eggs, hash rounds and choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

Great Angus Beef Burgers & Breakfast. I love hamburgers from Hardees! I don't dine out much but if I'm on the run and in need of a quick bit to eat I almost always look for Hardee's. They make some of the best biscuits I've every eaten!

Best Burger in the Fast Food Industry. I love the Hardees Thickburger. It's filled with good spices and fills me up, unlike it's competition...Hardees has came along was since the mid 90s and you should give this place a try if you are a sceptic...I think they may win you over, plus they have great ice cream!

Hardee's is not #1. They aren't even close to having the best burger over all the other restaurants. Maybe for fast food they are near the top, but not best out of all. Something on here is fixed I think! There is no way it has been the best burger in STL in any of the years they have won!!! The rating Hardee's has even shows it.

Here We Go Again!. Kudos to Citysearch for finally including a fast food category. It was embarrassing to see Hardee's at the top of our burger list in St. Louis. By the way, Hardee's IS the best of the fast food.

Both the quality and range of choices make them the best of the quick bites.
