Hoffmann Brothers made this Mom of Three Very Happy!. I am one of the "Facebook Winners" (2011, FM NewsTalk 97.1 ). I just got the Aprilaire 2200 installed by Bryan and Chad (1/18/12). Although I was already aware of the company's great reputation, this is the first time I had anything done by Hoffmann Bro's. The guys were great: Professional, efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. ? They took the time to answer all of my questions w/out being condescending, and provided me with great advice. I will definitely use Hoffman Brothers for my Htg & A/C, and am seriously considering the Service Club Membership.

I cannot thank the company enough for the wonderful prize. ???

With two of my three children having seasonal allergies and asthma, this was an absolute blessing - especially since I would not be able to afford it on my own due to my financial situation. I am already noticing a difference in the 'air quality' in my home!

You pay for what you get!. I have dealt with countless HVAC contractors over the years, and I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority do not understand many of the basic yet essential steps to installing my air conditioner properly. Unfortunately, I was letting the low price offered by many of these contractors dictate my decision. The Hoffmann tech that was sent to my house, kevin I believe, provided a thorough explanation of everything that he believed was done improperly. More importantly, he told me what he was going to do about it. Kevin didn't hesitate to call his foreman by the name of Gary who volunteered to come out and take a look and provide a second opinion. Initially I had concerns because what he was telling me did not align with what other contractors had told me (I had a unique situation which would take some time to explain here, but I'll let you know it had to do with an air handler in an attic crawlspace). Over the course of my experience, I was impressed with how Hoffmann Brothers took the time and brought in additional people to provide more insight into my unique problem until a solution was reached. My neighbor and longtime friend down the street had a similar experience and was the one who referred me to Hoffmann Brothers when I voiced my troubles regarding my attic. He would tell you the same thing, Hoffmann Brothers knows this business better than most and has some really helpful techs who, in my case, were willing to go above and beyond the call. It has been 8 months now since I had the work done by Hoffmann Brothers-- and this is the longest I have made it without having to call an HVAC company in the past 6 years that I have lived in my current house!

Terrible customer service.... I needed after hours service, guy told me the price $190 and was really short with me when i explained i had no heat, had someone else calling did not have time to talk to me, no thanks. For $190 they should be a little more polite. I own a service business and I know how important it is to let people ramble on because they are the customer, they are the ones that make us a success.

I also am going to contact Dave Glover & Dana from the dana show as they tout how great this place is.

Too Much Money - Bad Job. This company is a rip, they charge too much $ and deliver very little. Buyer Beware!!!

Skinned Alive. Hoffmann’s had installed my three furnace system some ten years ago. They did a good job and I had very few problems. However, they have made a couple of service call over the years. This fall, 2010, one of the units wouldn’t fire up so I called them for service. If fact they have been the only people that have worked on my systems. The guy came and replaced the 24v transformer and now it works.

In the course of the “service call“ I noticed a fuse on the floor. Upon further investigation and with some questioning I found it was the fuse from the transformer and the fuse socket had a copper wire jumper installed. Since Hoffmann Brothers had been the only ones in the house, apparently the prior service guy had jumped the fuse instead of replacing a faulty transformer.

Bottom line is I paid $95 for the “service call” and $281 for a 24v transformer to be installed; total of $376 for a call that would have been unnecessary had the work been done correctly the first time.

SKINED Alive is how I feel. If you call them watch like a hawk.

Hoffmann Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Hoffmann Brothers was outstanding to deal with. They answered all my questions and also told me about how I could make thigns better with adding a system on my furnace to better the air in my home. A+++
