Family Vet for over 25 years. We have taken our dog's there since we moved into the neighborhood. Dr. Kreher and the staff most of whom have been there almost as long are wonderful. We mainly visit for our yearly check ups but have had to use his expertise in various surgeries and end of life services over the years. And his prices are more reasonable than neighboring newer clinics.

He and the office were wonderful when our dog developed an eye problem while we were out of town, The dog sitter was able to get the help he needed and we were in constant contact with the clinic.

As long as the Overland Animal Clinic is in business we will remain loyal customers.

Kind and Compassionate, Great Price. We took our cat to Dr. Kreher because he was local and has been in business for a long time- found a couple of mixed reviews but nothing to concerning so we decided to give him a try. When he initially looked at our cat he thought that he perhaps had a urinary infection- they were going to have to put a catheter in to clean him out, give him fluid, etc. During this process the Dr. found that our kitty's bladder was punctured and that the only option was to operate to attempt to close the whole. Dr. Kreher personally called me to discuss the process and was upfront with the fact that our furry friend may not live- he felt that it certainly had to be done or he would surely pass. We were concerned about the high cost of a surgery that wasn't even sure to produce good results- Dr. Kreher was only going to charge us between $300-$350 for the surgery, fluids, catheter, and 3-4 days of keeping him on fluids and monitoring in the office. Can you imagine what this would have cost anywhere else?

Needless to say I wish our story had a happier ending. It turns out that our cats bladder was necrotic- dead. There was nothing the Dr. could do to help him and he couldn't live without a bladder, if we hadn't have taken him in that day he would have passed at home. Due to our cat being somewhat anti social at times and spending most of his time guarding the food dish (lol) we didn't even realize he was sick and he showed no indication until the day before.

The Dr. and staff at the Animal Clinic were very kind and compassionate, they didn't treat us like we were bad pet owners and understood, they even sent us a beautiful card a day later with a statement with which to remember our cat. We will be using Dr. Kreher for all our pet needs in the future and the staff at the clinic made the experience as bearable as it could be.

Great Vet!. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Kreher for about 6 years now. A few years ago one of our dogs started having seizures. I called Dr. Kreher at home about 2 a.m. the night before Thanksgiving. He was very cordial on the phone considering we woke him from a dead sleep. He gave us good advice to get us through the weekend till we could get our dog in to see him. We just took our dog with us out of town that weekend so we could moniter him. He told us our dog has epilepsy and gave us medicine to control the seizures. We have had to up his dose of the medicine, and since then, he has been seizure free, for almost 2 years now! They really do have the cheapest prices around, and I feel like they take good care of our pets.

Heartless veterinarian. I brought my puppy in to get an update on shots at 18 weeks. He was given 2 shots and a heart worm preventative. That night my dog started to get sick and his bowels started to become very soft. So by the time 3 days had gone by they had become very soup like. So I called the office Monday morning to speak with the doctor to ask him is this a normal thing to happen. He wanted me to bring my dog back in and he was going to charge me to look at my dog and anything else that he had to do for him. I don?t feel if the dog was perfectly fine before he walked into the office and from that point after you treated him he started to progress down hill I feel as if you should at least take the time out to look at the dog. Then he tells me to do what ever I want to do because he is not going to see my animal with out charging me. But I feel I shouldn?t be charged for your negligence and his lack of knowledge for his field.

Two thumbs up!. We have been taking our cats to Dr Kreher for over 20 years. He is very professional, and seems quiet but that's because he speaks "cat". The staff is accomodating and prices are very affordable. The place could use a little polishing, but cats don't care! What they care about is the way that they are treated.

Two thumbs up!
