Best BBQ Burger with Cole Slaw best Place To Chill Ot.
I can't wait whenever I am in the area to drop into the ole stomping grounds of Chuck A Burger for the famous BBQ burger w/cole slaw along with the crisp onion rings and that cold cherry coke .There is no one who could ever top the food at Chuck A Burger. It is still great food and the surroundings of all the ole nostalgia is the best .
I worked there back in the late 50's yeah and on the skates I made my way to the cars actually I was prety good if I may say so now ask me to do that today and there is no way sometimes now I even trip over my own feet. Wow what a great time we all had the music , the cruz nights, hanging out the car windows, seeing all of our friends The guys in their polished cool rides you could try messing with the girls but don't mess with the cars.
Several of us gals went there awhile back it was great brought back alot of memories to all of us .We are planning to do it again this month Sept 08 if they are still open hope so as one of the girls couldn't be with us but she is ready now .
We are still making memeories there , I guess you could say and hope more in the future Thanks To Ron for all the years of memories without Chuck A Burher who knows where we would have been Steak N Shake maybe , sorry that just slipped out but you understand right and besides they are gone, you out lasted many places on the RK RD.so you still have the rule of the Rock Road for all of us ole timers Hope that we have you around forever The one in St. Charles just isn't the same sorry All of our memories are in St John's your talking 53 years here ya know Can't just wash that out of your mind.Possible the only way to loose those memories would be Alzhimers did I even spell that right well thats what happens when you get old , right . To many more years at Chuck A Burger from a very loyal customer .Thanks for the memories !! Maggie
Burgers, cherry Cokes and plenty of '50s nostalgia..
Walking in the door, you'd think you'd wandered onto the set of "American Graffiti." Chuck-a-Burger is truly a blast from the past. Opened in 1957, this diner has worked to maintain its original luster. You can still pull up and get curb service from your car, and Elvis still blares from the radio.
Throw caution to the wind and order a triple Chuck, some chili cheese fries and a cherry Coke (or maybe a vanilla Coke, for a change of pace). How often do you get to eat like this? The burgers are the best thing on the menu, but if you must try something else, the catfish sandwich is pretty tasty.

terrific place to eat. chuck a burger is one of st. louis' original drive-ins. it has lots of 50's nostalgia and has great food at a great price.
Best Drive-in. One of the few places where a girl feels welcome in her '65 Pontiac Starchief...Chuck-a-Burger is an authentic drive-in where you can get an old-fashioned vanilla soda (Yes, before Vanilla Coke came out) & a perfectly greasy burger with grilled onions (by request). For 50's nostalgia buffs, the ambience is best indoors- but if you like to cruise, you'll love the curbside service. Just flash your lights to order!
