Thai restaurant has moved. The old Thai Restaurant that use to be in where the new Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant has move to a new location with a new name. The new place is much bigger and nicer and have been there over a year now. The new location is at 9641 Olive Blvd. Olivette, Mo. 63132 and the name of the restaurant is Land of Smile Thai Restaurant.

Vietnamese and Chinese too. I just happened upon this place one day when getting gas on the hill above. This little gem sits almost hidden from the main street, nestled between a smoke shop and a mexican grocery. If one is not looking, it can be easily missed.

The owners are friendly and jovial. Always ready with a smile. Their prices are reasonable and the menu is varried.

I like to start off with a vietnamese sweetened coffee and some fresh spring rolls.

I tend to order off of the Vietnamese part of the menu. Their soups come in a HUGE bowl. Enough to satisfy even the largest of appetites.

My friend tends to order mostly Chinese fair - loving their fried rice and General Tso's chicken.

Their crispy ship is also a big favorite.

It is a casual place, so go as you are. I'm sure you'll return again and again.

Friendly Owner, Great Curry!. I arrived at the restraunt right at 5 when the owner, a young 20-something, approached with a bag full of groceries. The place was a little out of my way, Thai Kitchen was within walking distance but their food was so bland I desperately searched for something with a little more flavor and found that and much more at Midland Wok. It's small... take-out-style is the decor, but who cares... I didn't even pay attention to the decor once the food was infront of me! The curry was so flavorful and creamy... probably more authentic than most places in the area. I would not recommend this place if you prefer a more bland thai place like the King and I or Thai Kitchen. The price was just right too.

I don't have time to cook and eat out once a day during the week... I stop here for at least one of those meals. The best part? I love leftovers... they are my favorite part of eating out. I had enough for three meals!

The curry dishs are their specality. It's a small little restaurent that has the carryout ambience. They triedto dres it up a little. The Curry dishs are good. The spring rolls are very good and deserts such as the black rice pudding is very good. The dishs presentation is very good. But if you want meat in your curry look out they going Surcharge you for every thing. If you want sub noodle for rice surcharge. If you sub rice for noodle Surcharge. If you need peanut sauce for your spring rolls Surcharge. The food is good not great. After you get the final bill the place is Average at best. The prices are on the high side compare to the other Thai shops in Saint Louis area which has far best ambience But They do offer some different to the thai option.

Great Thai Food with a Wonderfull Presentation. idland Wok is a very quaint and cozy restaurant, and the food is amazing. I dont think you can find better Thai food in St Louis for the money. I cannot get enough of the curry dishes. They keep you wanting more. Definitely a must try!
