Boots for everybody!.
Location
For a sizable portion of the population, south St. Louis might as well be the South Pole. And if they do venture there, it's usually to go to one of two places, Ted Drewes or the Gravois Bootery. More than a store, the Bootery is an institution.
The Goods
As you've probably guessed, the Gravois Bootery sells a wide variety of boots, though some brogues and oxfords can found as well. You'll find cowboy boots, motorcycle boots, work boots and winter boots from nearly every top manufacturer, and you're guaranteed a perfect fit. The employees know what they're doing, so trust them when they tell you you're a size 10, not a 9 1/2.

no sizes.
I drove to this store from Illinois, expecting a wide selection. The womens selection left something to be desired. Then when I did ask to try out boots, they only had one or two sizes of the boots. I picked out four different boots and only one style was available in my size. Disappointing. I'll stick to Tharps on the East side, thank you.
