Rude and Obnoxious. The show itself was good and entertaining, however ruined by the extremely rude staff. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I have never been insulted worse in my life.

!!!BEST DRAG SHOW IN SAINT LOUIS!!!. The show at the Grey Fox is FANTASTIC!!! It is now the biggest and best drag show in the St. Louis area. As a matter of fact... it is the only place where you can actually go to sit down and enjoy a full show... The stage is now very large and the entertainers are awesome!!! They don't come out into the audience very much at all anymore.... they like to stay on the stage so that everyone can see them through their whole performance... On Friday and Saturday nights... they have a regular drag show that starts at 10pm.... on Sunday night there is an amateur show that starts at 9pm. The room seats about 100 people.... but the seats fill up fast... so get there early if you want a good seat or a seat at all. It is a great place to have a birthday get together and enjoy a show.... if you do come for a birthday.... make sure you bring a cake so you can get the birthday boy (or girl) up on stage with the entertainers. A lot of women make the drag show at the Grey Fox part of their bachelorette celebration as well. This is for sure a great place to go and let loose a little.... and to have a great time.

You don't have to be gay to have a good time at this place. My husband and I went for the show, not really knowing what to expect, but trying new places is what we do. Although the place is small, the people were friendly, entertainment was fabulous and we were welcomed as patrons, not as outsiders. We had a blast!

Great!!. Sort of hard to find, but everyone was VERY friendly and the prices were reasonable. A lot of fun!!

A no-frills place with lots of little extras.. Fox in His Hole
Looking at the outside of the Grey Fox, tucked away on a side street intersection in South City, you'd never think it was gay bar, per se. Instead, it looks like any of the dozens of other corner taverns that dot the area: your basic, beer-and-shot joint.

Best of Both Worlds
But this is a gay bar, and an interesting one at that, combining neighborhood bar prices, with added quirks like a free brunch on Saturday mornings and a well-attended drag show on both Friday and Saturday nights.

The Scene
The live show takes place in a small, second room, with only the barest of stages and dressing rooms. This means a no-frills act, with performers often having to wander through the crowd between acts. The room's not without fun during the shows, but it's generally a well-behaved lot, though folks will occasionally get a little crazy with the impersonators.
