Ruined my sister's wedding. BEWARE!!!!! My sister ordered her wedding cake from Hank's and it never showed up!!! So they had no wedding cake at their wedding. Their explanation: they didn't check the order sheet to get the day right, they were going to deliver it the next day. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY UNRELIABLE. Unacceptable business practice. How do you mess up someone's once in a lifetime day? DO NOT ORDER YOUR WEDDING CAKE from them unless you want to take the chance of not having one at all!

At Hank's retail location, you can choose from about two dozen popular flavors on hand, or you can order a whole cake from more than thirty flavors on the complete menu. Or order several cakes stacked one on top of the other and call it a wedding cake. Your guests will thank you.

Food
Recent clinical trials revealed that key lime, mocha chocolate chip, German chocolate and white chocolate raspberry were the favorites among the sweet cakes.

Ambiance
Hank's serves coffee and has a few tables and chairs in its sunny front room, but the seating is usually empty. This is a carry-out and delivery business, where customers pop in just long enough to pick up their orders. If you want to linger over a slice of cheesecake, go to one of the restaurants that has Hank's on the dessert menu.

Tastes As Good As Home Baked. Sometimes cheesecake from bakeries or restaurants can be dry, crumbled and not as tasty as home baked. Some times you don't taste the cream cheese or sour cream. I first tasted Hank's at the Missouri's Home Growers Show at the Missouri Botanical Garden. It was moist, not gooey. It was filled with taste. Better yet they had toppings to go with it. Blueberry and Red Rasberry are my favorites. Once you go into their bakery you will see they carry a large variety of cheese cakes. They have cheesecake for dessert and cheesecake for appetizers. If you have a long way to drive, they will freeze your order and it can then sit for hours!
