Highly Recommended. I recently hired Anchor for a move, based on a recommendation from a family friend. He stated that they "busted @$$" during his move, so I checked them out.

Not only did they move everything quickly, they completed the move almost too quickly. I had someone helping me on my side of the move, whom the movers followed to my new home while I stayed behind to briefly wrap up some business. That person had to call to inform me that the move was completed *before I had even left my former residence* to catch up with them. So far, I've not come across any damaged goods, either.

It should also be noted that they charged me exactly according to the estimate, and didn't try to pad the bill.

Great Service. Anchor was fantastic. The employee were professional and friendly. They arrived on time and ready to work. The telephone quote I was given was right on track. Moving is a very stressful time and the management and crew from Anchor gave me peace of mind and made the day as uneventful as humanly possible. Their equipment was clean and presented a positive image of Michael's company.

They were GREAT and I would recommend them to all to try.

Money Hungry & Unfair Business Practices. Stay away from Anchor Moving, it?s an illegitimate company. I had a $60 charge from my credit card applied as credit towards my move. I contacted the owner well in advance of the move date to cancel the movers and he informed that the deposit was non-refundable. I was totally shocked because we had never talked about the deposit not being refundable. So, I asked him to show me signs or brochures or any evidence of this policy and he informed me there was not a policy. His company is privately owned and he is the owner, so he just makes up stuff. There was no verbal or written agreement established for the deposit or cancellation. I think this is so unfair that he will not even give me a partial amount of the $60 deposit this is unheard of, I have never experienced this with any other moving company. Most companies do not even require deposits. But I have someone investigating this matter. Never do business with this man he is dishonest and unfair and his poor business practices.
