What People Are Saying About Pho Grand Restaurant

In Short – Pho Grand is often crowded but never feels rushed, thanks to an agreeable decor accented by Vietnamese antiques. The restaurant prepares five silky variations of soup, all made with beef: Order the pho dac biet. Dishes, influenced by Thai, Chinese, French and Cambodian flavors, are seasoned with fish sauce (nuac mom), shrimp paste, lemon grass, mint, basil and curry. Try ga xao xa ot, sauteed chicken with chili peppers and lemon grass. – –

BEWARE: Check your credit card bills because PHO Grand charges more than the amount on your receipt. It already happened to me twice on take out orders, they charged me $5 dollar more than the amount I signed off for. The food is decent, but I can't tolerate unethical practices.
Best Vietnamese food ever

This place is totally amazing. Everything is perfect; their food, presentation, service, staff, and ambiance is impeccable. The flavors are always well balanced and very clean. Nothing is too heavy unless you go on a gorge fest or something, which is not hard to do. I've tried most things on their menu and there is nothing I would not recommend. Another bonus is that their service is very fast. This place totally flows like butter. This is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Saint Louis.
- Pros: Perfection
- Cons: You'll never go elsewhere
Bland Vietnamese Cuisine. Definately not best in town.

This restaurant was lacking in so many things.
Here is a list:
-Servers were rude and snobby. When I asked about the menu items, my server gave a big sigh and did not help much.
-Food was very bland and not flavorful like normal vietnamese cuisine.
-The interior is musky and unappealing
-The wait for my food was unbelievable. Vietnamese food, as many experts would know, is very speedy.
- The wait for my check was unbelievable. (server complaint again.)
-The list of desserts and drinks were not very authentic for a vietnamese cuisine.
- I went with a vietnamese friend who heard the servers speaking in vietnamese about the other customers, which is very rude.
-Not family friendly
-Not romantic
-Interior needs redecorating and updating.
There were a few things that made my trip not as bad.
Prices were pretty decent.
My suggestion, skip this restaurant and check out LemonGrass Restaurant, down the street, for actual "AUTHENTIC" Vietnamese cuisine.
Check out my review.
- Pros: Cheap.
- Cons: Horrible Staff. Long waiting. Bland food. Cramped dining.
