My wife and I took a chance on this place because of some good feedback we had read in a review. I wonder if anyone gets a bad review anymore? It seems like the writers are paid to make just about any place look good. Anyway, the natural fact is about snotty, patronizing, so-called service and talentless, teenage cooks slopping out painfully bland and poorly prepared, psuedo natural food, whilst the owner/manager walks about looking like he slept in his car the previous night. A main attraction mentioned in the reviews I had read was the "childrens area" and focus on kids. If you by "children" the reviewer meant "ultra trendy college kids from the local U flopping on the filthy couches and playing what's left of the board games and leaving chalk everywhere", than I regret to say you will find it there. Not even crayons for the used and abused stack of tattered and mostly finished coloring books, could be had. The menu is as shallow and bland as the poeple working there. I wish someone would realize "vegatarian" doesn't mean "tasteless garbage". The snickering, teenage cooks lounge about fraternizing and making jokes while you wait for your food to appear, making you nervous to eat whatever they might have had their hands on. The saving grace is the small selection of ok beers offered, but don't expect anything out of the standard undergrad fare. So if you are expecting something special from this place you will be sorely disapointed. We were.

Serving vegetarian cuisine and meat entrees, this place gives you a great bang for the buck. I enjoy the warm and informal atmosphere and the unpretentiousness and genuine taste of the food. The experience of eating at Natural Fact is unique to St Louis, I visit for lunch often.
