great jeweler. I've been a customer for 7 years and have been happy with everything they have done. Recently, my wedding ring (Summa created) was damaged. Jim bent over backward to help me replace the damaged diamond and get a better one for next to nothing. I love how they make you feel welcome and are always willing to help you do anything. They will help you keep in your budget. Can't say enough, you just gotta check them out.

unparalleled jewelry service. Summa Jewelers has always exceeded my expectations in the ten years I've frequented Jim Summa's shop. Not only is Jim's craftsmanship and expertise virtually unequalled in the St. Louis area, the customer service provided by Jim and Susan is outstanding. Jim is constantly seeking to improve and update his knowledge of the gem industry and to bring new, quality products to the Kirkwood area. I cannot recommend Summa Jewelers highly enough.

Wonderful hometown jeweler. My fiance and I hoped to find just the right ring for our engagement, and later, our wedding bands. After listening to our hopes, Jim Summa created a unique ring for me (my engagement ring) and for my fiance (his wedding band). Every time we visit Jim and Susan, we get the attention that any customer deserves. Not only will Jim and Susan take the time to listen, but they care about getting to know you as well!

Over the top service. Jim and Susan were so friendly and helpful in every way. I wanted a new setting for my engagement ring and they had the perfect one. They matched additional stones perfectly and had my new ring ready in 2 days. They are very well versed in gemology and I feel very confident in Jim's work. My new 3 stone ring is gorgeous! I love it. I recommend them for any jewelry need or want you may have. You will enjoy them and love your jewelry. It was a great experience.

The ONLY place for fine jewelry. I am a confessed "Jewelry Junkie"; an original label from my husband! I love to help design one-of-a kind pieces that are as individual as I am. JIM SUMMA, located in downtown Kirkwood across from the train station, has meet all my jewelry needs for years by custom making rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. He has helped to educate me and is a great listener. Jim is also skilled at any and all jewelry repairs and stands 100% behind his work. Jim not only has a great inventory from which to choose, he will go to any length to obtain the specific stone (semi-precious, precious, diamond) you desire and loves the challenge of creating original settings that please the customer . Years ago I saw an outrageously priced stunning peach tourmaline/diamond ring in the New Orleans French Quarters. Jim searched the world through his vast contacts and was able after several months to locate the perfect stone (4+ carats and color)--having had numerous stones sent to his Kirkwood store for my approval. His diligence resulted in a magnificent original work which to this day Jim still can't believe he was able to price thousands under it's inspiration in New Orleans. My husband is"cheap", generous, loving and values quality at a fair price. We recently decided to "give it a whirl" for another 30 + years and Jim who'd been looking out for several years for "our" special diamond , showed us an unique cushion cut stone at a price we could justify spending even during these rocky economic times. We trust JIM SUMMA totally and will recommend him to anyone searching for a knowledgeable, creative, honest jeweler. Let's face facts--jewelry is an expensive optional investment. If you choose to spend hard earned money on it, you should go to the best, get exactly what you want and know it's also an unbeatable value. You can do that at Summa's Jewelry.
