Excellent. I love Federhofer's donuts. Real chocolate! Yum. I had them do my gkids b-day cake and it was perfect. Nice and moist. Exactly as I asked for it to be and the price was reasonable. Will definitely use them again.

Very Satisfied Customer. Ordered a 60th birthday cake in the shape of a guitar and it was absolutely perfect. I have shared pictures of it and everyone asks where I ordered it from.

It looked just like a spanish guitar and was even better than I could have hoped for. Thank you!

Terrible Women. I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN A WOMEN DISRESPECT PEOPLE LIKE A WOMEN THAT WORKS THERE NAMED LINDA. SHE HAS THE WORST ATTITUDE I HAVE EVER SEEN WITH HER CO WORKERS SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB. YES LINDA YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE , I CAN TELL YOU IF MY CHILD WORKED THERE YOU WOULD BE IN HUGE TROUBLE WITH YOUR BOSS AND IF THEY CHOOSE NOT TO DO ANYTHING I WOULD HIRE AN ATTORNEY TO SUE THE BAKERY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A LEADER NOT A DICTATOR.

Pretty good bakery. We moved just a few doors down from Federhoffers in 2008. We don't eat out often, but who could resist a real german bakery? We've generally enjoyed the treats we've tried, but the service has never been any more than so-so. Some things seem pricey (cookies), while others seem really cheap (Nepolians). For us, it's a nice treat- once in a while.

bakery. went to get some bakery stuff and wanted 1 glazed donut. didn't have any so I got 3 donut holes, I was charged 3.27 for them, Didn't noticed the charge untill I got home and looked at the receipt. So I called them and I was told, TOO BAD. And they hung up.

So as of today they have lost me...........and I won't recomend them either.

Customer Service. We have been going to Federhofer's for over 30 years. All of my kids and now Grandkids birthday and special ocassion cakes have come from there. It has been a family tradition. Tuesday first thing I called and ordered a cake. I wanted white dough, white icing. I was told it was too late to get the cake for the next day in white dough, but could have yellow or chocolate. Then while I was telling the lady what I wanted on the cake, she asked me to hold and she would double check on the white dough. She came back and said we could get white dough if we didn't need the cake till 3 or later. So our lunch celebration had to move to a late dinner celebration (which was fine, Gramma can't ever remember they are closed on Mondays) We changed our plans because of this cake. When we cut the cake, it was YELLOW DOUGH. I worked yesterday, so called this morning and spoke with the Manager and his reply was 'that can happen sometimes' No apology, no nothing. I have had it. I have stood in line almost an hour before many a holiday to pick up a cheesecake, etc, and like I said ALL our cakes for 30 years have come from there. We try to support the independent bakeries, butchers, mom&pop stores, but will NEVER order a cake from Fedehofer's again. And not because of the dough color, but because of the 'that can happen sometimes'' no apology response from a Manager. Obviously they are doing so well, they don't need our business anymore.

Best Bakery in STL. I used to live up the street from this little gem when I was in college. I still go there frequently. The "icing on the cake" so to speak is their German chocolate cake. There is none - in the world - better. Melt-in-your-mouth, and everything combines perfectly in everyway; nothing, not the icing, coconut, or anything overpowers the cake in a negative way. In fact, I might just pick one up this weekend...
