The first Hardee's opened as a walk-up burger restaurant in 1960 in Greenville, N.C. Today, the fast-food chain has locations across the United States and is spreading internationally. Big, beefy burgers--like the 1/3 pound Thickburger--are the stars, along with sides like fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Breakfast offerings range from Made From Scratch Biscuits to Big Country Platters: biscuit, pancake, eggs, hash rounds and choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

I think I get it.. Get this, people. As I was signing up for this... and voting for Ted Drews... there was a banner on the side of the screen that read, "Vote Hardees and win thickburgers for a whole year!". I can only hope that is why they are in the two spot. Granted, that could save some people a lot of money if they survived the whole year, but it seems kind of underhanded. I wonder if news reporters get a memo reading, "Interview the biggest hoosier and get a raise!". Seems we are doomed to be hicks here in Missouri with propaganda like this.....

Make it Stop!. Oh, my fellow St. Louisans... How embarrassed do you want to be? You've now rated a fast food place as a winner of 2 categories. That's pathetic. Hardee's is good for fast food; I'll give you that. However, to put it at the top of this list or even IN this list is absolutely obnoxious. If you lack the sophistication to see what I am talking about, then please, oh please, don't give your 2 cents. We're having enough trouble shaking the "hick" label nationally. Let's not make it worse.

Not the best fast food around. Their ice cream is nothing, how is it on the list?!? The hamburgers definitely should not be on the top, their rating is below every since other place on the list. Breakfast is alright, but not the best either. The Hardee's ratings are rigged!
