TERRIBLE!. Got seated next to noisy kitchen even though there were plenty of other booths availible. Asked for sweet blackberry iced tea but was served unsweetened plain tea. Asked for salad with no cucumbers when ordering but salad was served with cucumbers and when we asked for another that one was served with cucumbers too. Also when ordering asked for my dinner to be served with bbq sauce not the honey mustard, but my dinner came out to me ABSOLUTELY STONE COLD and with honey mustard. I asked for my waitier to take it back and that I absolutely did not want another. On top of all of this, a group of waitresses were all out in the dining area at one of the nearby booths having their break which included LOUDLY talking on cell phones and even one of the waitresses French braiding another waitresses' hair as if they were in a hair salon IN FRONT OF all of the restaurant patrons. This was absolutely uncalled for and AGAINST HEALTH DEPARTMENT STANDARDS. I know from working in food service that any hair or makeup primping must be done in a restroom. This prompted us to ask for the manager. After ten minutes the manager STROLLED out of the back, asked a few of the other patrons how their meal was and eventually came over to our table and SAT DOWN IN THE BOOTH next to us as if someone invited her for dinner. We informed her of the issues we were having and how displeased we were with everything and she seemed to have an EXCUSE for all of the things that went wrong, she wouldn't admit that she was wrong about anything or even say sorry. Instead of offering to take something off the check or take care of the bill, she asked us what it was we wanted her to do. This manager had no managerial skills WHATSOEVER. The only thing she said she would do was have a talk with the obnoxious waitresses about doing hair out on the floor. She informed me that my dinner was being recooked and I told her I had already told my waiter I didn't want another. She wouldn't take no for an answer and forced me to accept another meal. We were so ready to leave, I asked for her to tell them to put it in a to-go box because we were definitely not in the mood to stay. Five minutes later, my dinner came out on a platter, not in a box like I had asked. How many things could they get wrong? We asked for the check, and NOTHING HAD BEEN TAKEN OFF THE CHECK, not even my dinner that had to be recooked. When leaving this restaurant the two girls who got in trouble about doing their hair in front of patrons walked out of the restaurant doors into the parking lot and sarcastically waved and shouted goodbye at us. VERY VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS RESTAURANT, THE MANAGER AND THE EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE REPRIMANDED. Longhorn steakhouse has lost customers and I will not be giving this restaurant good reviews. Will be reporting our visit to corporate as well as the Saint Louis County Health Department for failure to meet health code standards.

Average Steaks but Cool Place to Visit. Long Horn is a Texan inspired steakhouse. You may come here with high expectations, but may get let down with their quality and preparation of steaks. Mine was dry, and overcooked. However, they could've been having a bad day. Be very specific with how you want your food to be prepared and served to avoid any dissatisfaction.

National chain rustles up rib eyes, T-bones and fillets in a kid-friendly, Lone Star-inspired setting.. In Short
One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.

I didn't want to leave!. I have been to a few Longhorn's in other cities, but the best service and steak I ever had was this week at the Sunset Hills location. I sat at the bar and was promptly greated with a smile and specific drink suggestions. After weighing my options on beer and food, I ordered the renegade, loaded mashed potatoes, caesar salad, and a BIG Sam Adam's. Lindsey, the bartender was outstanding with her service. The food timing was dead on, and the steak, OH the steak! Cooked to perfection with the extra "love" I requested, my mouth is watering as I sit here and think about it. Even if I came in with a party of 20, I would want to sit at that bar again, to have the same great food, and amazing service every time.

thrilled all around. The food was great, the waitress was very helpful but not pushy, the wait was minimal, all in all I was pleasantly surprised and I am looking forward to the next time I dine there

Run of the mill. This is probably a good place to take the family, but it isn't at the top of my list for the beef it serves. The service, while adequate, is not outstanding.

Best of the West. Great food and the atmosphere is real down to earth. Western ambience everywhere you look. Great place for lunch or dinner.

SIZE DOES MATTER!. Referring to Longhorn in Florissant, MO. First time I went there, about two years ago, it was great, but they must have changed hands. On both occasions I ordered the biggest steak on the menu. The first visit I got a steak that nearly covered the plate and was delicious, this last visit I got a steak that was less than half the size I ordered. I spoke to the waitress about it and her response was that the company that supplies the steaks sent these. She did take the steak back to look for one that was bigger and she did bring back a slightly larger steak, but still not half of the size I requested plus it was well done and I asked for medium rare and it was tough. I wont be going back!
