The Course
Hale Irwin designed Quail Creek when he was between his championships on the regular tour and the Senior Tour. When it opened in 1986, the course was such a success that people thought Irwin was a better course designer than a player--and he's a three-time U.S. Open champion.
The Crowd
Quail Creek may be the most popular course in the area for corporate outings. It has four sets of tees, playing from 4,120 yards to 6,805 yards. The course is so inviting that most people play from the back tees.
