Please always feel free to contact us if you ever feel as if you been treated poorly by ANY of our employees. We are local for 70 years and genuinely care about how our customers feel about us.
Sales guy called me a "F**KING LIAR".
Just had new carpet installed from Edward's Carpet in STL. When the installer showed me the balance due, I asked if he could call into the store to see if it was already paid (I remembered paying SOMETHING, just couldn't remember if it was all or partial) When the installer called the sales guy in the store, I could very clearly hear the sales guy tell the installer, "If he's telling you he paid already, he's a F*CKING LIAR!"
Of course, I was just asking to double-check on the balance, not trying to stiff the guy. The sales guy probably didn't realize the phone was one notch below speakerphone, and I could hear every word that he said.
So instead of refreshing my memory by walking me through the invoice, he decided to get defensive and act unprofessional.
Really? Edwards Carpet guy? I'm a F*CKING LIAR?
So, yeah, he definitely lost me as a customer. Hoping other people will keep it mind when carpet shopping around STL. I'm sure this isn't typical at other locations, but it was my experience at the Des Peres store and I believe the guy's name was Carrie / Kerry.
