What a Surprise!. We dropped in for an impromptu celebration after closing on a house in the neighborhood: it looked like a friendly neighborhood place. Turned out to be an absolutely delightful meal in every way. One of our children remarked that our waiter was "the best waiter I've ever met." We all agreed: we couldn't remeber a better one. Great food, over the top service, quiet, warmly elegant ambience. A very well kept secret except in the neighborhood, I think.

Ruined Our 50 Year Wedding Anniversary!!!. I called an made reservations for my parents 50th wedding anniversary over a month ago. On the eve of our celebration, we received a call at home that Mineos would be closed and they would not honor the reservation. The person who called us -- he said he was the manager -- was very rude during the call.
