Don't go to this salon - and ESPECIALLY don't have Bill Bennett do your hair. I went to him after my wonderful hairdresser retired. My former hairdresser wrote out instructions for Bennett, to do my hair, and he gave him oral instructions over the telephone. Despite that, Bill Bennett gave me a perm, and damaged every inch of my hair. When I left that shop, I looked like a poodle that had stuck its finger in a light socket. I have very long and thick hair which I wear smooth, and it will be YEARS before all the damage is grown out. For the first 7 months after Bennett damaged my hair, my hair broke off and fell out so badly after washing or brushing it, that I had a sandwich bag full of my hair every single week. My hair has always been beautiful and shiny, and I always had compliments on it everywhere I went. Now, 8 months after my perm in that shop, my hair still looks and feels like wool. Sometimes, it looks and feels like straw. If there is any moisture in the air whatsoever, my hair frizzes up like a brillo pad. My hair NEVER frizzed before.
When I called to make an appointment with Mr. Bennett, to discuss the damage he had done to my hair, the receptionist gave me an appointment. Very shortly thereafter, she called back, saying that Bennett was cutting back his hours and was not taking any new customers, so he could not do my hair "for the foreseeable future". The negligent hairdresser was also too cowardly to face me and to do all the repair work that my hair is going to need weekly for years. His lack of ethics and character are also reflected in the fact that he must have seen that he badly damaged my hair after the perm, but he said nothing. Then, he refused to take responsibility for the damage he had done when I called about it. I never expected such negligence and lack of ethics in a salon in that area. I was mistaken. If you value your hair, don't go there. You will have your hair damaged, and you will have to pay huge amounts of money for years, just to treat it and to make it feel like hair again.
Apart from that, the shampoo girl is very sloppy, and you will not have any makeup left on your face after she finishes with you. Somehow, she always manages to get your clothes wet, too. Plus, you have to go down a flight of stairs, just to get to the shampoo area, which can be dangerous for older customers. Absolutely nothing is appealing about that salon.
How are there good reviews for this place?? First of all, it's an outdated dump. I bought the groupon for the massage and facial...when I arrived an unprofessional woman was sprawled on a chair in the hallway and said "can I help you?" Was this an employee, a random person... I had no idea. When I walked in there was no receptionist, and an employee was on a personal call on the customer side of the reception desk. Okay. The massage room was outdated and the therapist had to pop open the oil bottle every time she needed it and close it again, then toss it back on the bed. Repeatedly. She never asked me what my problem areas were, what I wanted, how the pressure was, etc. No coffee or water was ever offered. The facial was in a bright room on a chair, not a massage table, and I wore a smock (?) they gave me. No massages during masks, in fact, she just left the room. Both services were average at best and I didn't even consider the package the owner tried to sell me at the end. Don't buy a groupon...there is a reason this established "spa" can't keep customers.

This place was amazing I'm not sure what the others are talking about, but the receptionist I spoke with was helpful and prompt with returning my call. Carleen did my massage and it was heaven. I almost fell asleep on the table. It was somewhat difficult to make an appointment, but I could understand there was a large response to the ad for a smaller local spa. I got in just fine though and was greeted with a smile and they offered to take my coat and asked if I needed coffee water soda? I was made comfortable throughout the whole experience. Barbara who did my facial was the owner and made it an extremely relaxing pleasant facial. She was on time and a very pleasant person. The staff was wonderful and I ended up buying a series of the facials, and massages. As far as the decor of the spa I bought it was beautiful. I had an amazing experience, and can't wait to be back!
My massage was relaxing and the best thing you can treat yourself to feel good.
James Pearson has been my go to place for all services I receive, for years! They are fantastic at what they do the ladies I go to, Stephanie Chong, and Shirley, work wonders on me. I know the others there are just as expirienced though. Stephanie does my cut and color and I love it. She knows exactly what I want and how to make me happy. Shirley does my nails, and I get a French and love it !!! Best one in town. Then there's Chong who does my facials and arches. I love them, I couldn't ask for better shaping for my brows and my facials are heavenly. I fall asleep in her room easier thn in my own bed!! Love this place. The only bad thing is once you go your hooked! I now get my facials monthly my manicures biweekly and my hair every four weeks! Hope you love them as much as I do!

I had both the facial and massage. The best I've had! They went above and beyond doing other services that was not asked of for a special event. Top notch! Very nice employees.
