I would absolutely recommend Michael. I have long hair, but I've seen him do amazing work on all different hair types. He takes his time and is also a pleasure to have a conversation with. I know many other people who also go to him and they all continually rave about how talented he is. Definitely one of the best!

I am a happily returning customer to Michael Burgess, stylist and owner of Michael Isaiah Designs for hair. I went last night for a cut, then went shopping and got 2 compliments on my haircut. I felt great! I know I will consistently have a great cut by Michael. You really must see the salon, it is absolutely gorgeous, love the floors, the atmosphere is calming, comfortable and everyone that works there is very nice and professional. You will feel amazing after an appointment at MICHAEL ISAIAH DESIGNS FOR HAIR!

Ella Ravicovich has been making me fabulous for many years! She is an excellent stylist. Not only can you get a fantastic haircut and style but she is also an awesome makeup stylist. Often times a hair stylist can cut OR style. Ella can truly do it all. She has worked and is experienced with all different types of hair. Ella will take you through the entire hair process from daily care, cut and options for different styling. If you need to get the full package of fab, go see Ella!! You are missing out if you don't!

I stopped relaxing my hair almost 2 years ago and the place I went to closed down. I met Chey and she worked her magic! My hair is a PERFECT afro and ALL my naturalistas are SUPER jealous. They don't live in STL so I get to brag that my hair was cut by none other than Chey Fox! I am always sad to cut any amazing growth BUT Chey cuts so well that I got over it REALLY quick!!!

Chey Fox is the best stylist in the Lou! I have put my corporate life in her hands, keeping my look hip-- and classy. Her personality is so warm it almost supersedes her talent...almost! ;)

Best haircuts and treatment of my LIFE!. Chey Fox has been my stylist for 6 years now and I have never regretted it! She is so great at casting vision for your hair when you have no idea what you want. She's also great at listening to what it is that YOU want and pulling it off with flying colors. It always looks better than I could have imagined. The atmosphere at Michael Isaiah's is always modern, upbeat and I feel taken care of and valued as a client.
