Very uncaring!!!.
I made a reservation for our 30th anniversary one week prior to the date. I was told by the manager that "It wasn't really needed as the time was early afternoon." I insisted saying that it was my
anniversary and I wanted everything to be perfect. I gave my name and said party of 2.
We drove that day 2 hours from home anticipating a wonderful meal. Only to walk up to the door, we see a sign on the door. Closed Feb 5th. Open Feb 6th......No one had taken our phone number. We were out of luck, and needless to say very disappointed.
I called the next day and talked to the manager once again, asking exactly when they had decided to close for the Superbowl.....
He stammered and studdered, remembering my reservation. He offered a gift certificate........
Do you really feel that I can ever make up my 30th wedding anniversary?!?!?!
We will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!
Obviously they do not know how to run a restaurant!!!…
Excellent Food & Service. Stopped here for the first time last week with business associates. I took the bartender's recommendation on the Chicken Ripieno. It was excellent as well as everything that came with it. Service was friendly and homey. Plan to go back next week with my father.…
Overpriced and mediocre.
My salad was one of thse iceberg lettuce mixes from a bag, right down to the wilted brown pieces on top, smothered in their house italian dressing, thickand mostly mayo and not very tasty.
For the entree i had the special, which was tenderloins also smothered in an extra-salty langostino sauce. I use a lot of salt, but this stuff was ridiculous. Too be fair, scraping the sauce and the salty langos away revealed pretty tender steak pieces, albeit small.
The special was rounded out with leathery penne with a sickly sweet red meat sauce.
One son liked his pizza, and the other thpought sis chicken fettucin was too creamy. The couple next us liked the humungous bowls of chicken rissoto.
Very hit and miss. Decent service.…
We really enjoyed ourselves.
We went to Bartolino's Osteria on June, 6th and had a wonderful time.
We ordered the fried calamari with fried spinach leaves and it was very good. We both had house salads with the house dressing and that was good.
My wife had the Scallops and Risotto and I had the Canneloni which was very good.
I asked the waiter to suggest a good Pinot Noir and left the selection up to him and it was complimentary and reasonably priced.
The waiter and his assistants provided excellent service without being obtrusive.
The restaurant was not too crowded, which surprised us because Bartolino's at the old location was generally pretty packed.
We had fun watching the live music in the bar and watching some of the patrons belt out some Sinatra songs.
It was nice, affordable, fun evening with my wife that was not tainted by bad service or bad food or anything like that.…
Delicious- With a capital D!. We went up to Bartolino's the other night, it was a Tuesday and the place wasn't to crowded, which we took as a bad sign but we stayed anyway....and we were really happy we did. I had a chicken dish which was delicious. It was seasoned well and cooked well. The tomato sauce on my side dish tasted fresh and flavorful. My wife had a fish dish and it too was seasoned and cooked perfectly and her vegetable side dish was fresh and crisp, not mushy and salty like some places. It was definitely not a place where the plate looks incredible and taste the exact opposite. It was good, quality, and well seasoned food, which seems so hard to find now. We'll be back!…
