don't fill up on appetizers!. Mushrooms, jalepeno poppers, cheese fries, TOO Much food when we went to order dinner, we ordered and then took it home. Recommend going hungry and living close for a nap! Awesome food, great staff, and excellent service. Parking is a pain, but normal for the area.
Don't know what all the fuss is about.... Everything in this place was average, including the "famous" burger....
I was full.... I went there the first time with a friend of mine who liked to eat as much as myself. We both left there completely full and very impressed. It did take a little longer to get the cheeeburger but it was absolutely HUGE! Plus, the place was packed so I didn't discount the service. They also serve Guinness beer at just the right temperature.
Locals and collegians flock to this simple Dogtown pub for hot-off-the-grill, juicy burgers to complement their brews..
In Short
Customers pledge their allegiance to the homemade 10-ounce burgers dripping with grease, cheese and everything delicious. The menu also includes other American favorites, like grilled steaks, chicken, soups and salads. Even though the chow is the main draw, plenty of patrons still gather to sip pints at the bar, or in the smoking room by the toasty fireplace. In warmer months, the back patio becomes a popular hangout.
shamfull mc crappy. nasty greasy food. steak sandwich was full of grisle and fat
Irish Burger Fills Ya. Seamus is a great place to get a good burger and a great place to people watch.
Soccer Haven. We do Seamus 10-20 times a year and most always on the tuesday nights before the Muny. Casual dress is not required but recommended. The wife and I split a chef's salad, which is THE BEST anywhere and then order a entree from the menu, which we also split. If you happen to have any interest in soccer you will enjoy the write ups and articles on the wall, particularly those dealing with the early '50 World Cup team.
Dogtown Pub. Seamus McDaniels is a nice place to eat outside on a summer night. Good variety of food and drink. Friendly service. All a nice price.
Where's the beef? Here!. Dined here before a baseball game ... the burgers are outstanding! Juicy -- and filling. Everything was hot and freshly cooked. But the burger was so much that I couldn't eat more than a few fries. Spouse & I have decided that the next time we eat here, we'll get one burger & fries and split it -- there's that much food (and we're big eaters).
