Great!. This place is great. I love the potato skins, french onion soup, cavatelli, and their sandwiches on garlic cheese bread. Everything has so much flavor! One thing I'm not too crazy about is the pizza, thin, cardboard style crust that you can get at most stl restaurants, nothing to brag about. Plenty of other items to try though that will not disappoint!

Big on Biggie's. My wife and I really enjoy the casual atmosphere and the great variety of food. The pizza is incredible--anyone who loved the old Luigi's pizza will think you have died and gone to heaven. And you have to have the salad with the white french. Despite the great pizza, We are waiting for the grilling to start back up so we can grab some of those fall off the bone ribs on Saturdays.

Neighborhood Restaurant. I have visited Biggies so many times I cannot count. A friend who lives in South County drives in to Biggies just for the steak! It is a great neighborhood restaurant on Watson Rd in south St. Louis west of Hampton Ave.

For the past several years, I have ordered a huge pan of baked mostaccioli for Christmas Eve and graduations, showers etc. Excellent wait staff and very accomodating staff and Manager. I must eat a gluten free diet. The owner allows me to bring in my wheat free pasta and will cook it up for me. Talk about going the extra mile. I was so happy to finally have Baked Mostaccioli again. My husband almost always orders cod or Canneloni. We bring our friends there for a comfortable , relaxing dinner. Plenty of sandwiches, pastas, pizza , drinks, chicken specialties and salads! You will see neighbors, parish members and family parties there. I hope you all will come and try it out...it is one of our favorite restaurants. Good food, good staff and good prices!

Bad experiences. I have been a loyal Biggie's patron for years, never had an issue. Twice I got home with a carry-out order of wings that were seriously under-cooked. They were bloody and left a bloody puddle in the bottom of the container. Both times I called to tell them and was met with a luke-warm reaction.

The third and final time I ordered wings was in the restaurant. Those wings also arrived CLEARLY under-cooked. I asked for the manager and he suggested that if I want my wings cooked more I should ask for them "well done". I asked him to repeat that because I thought perhaps I had heard him wrong--he stated again that if I don't like the way the wings are cooked then I should specify with the waitress exactly how I want them cooked when I order them. In other words, if you prefer your buffalo wings COOKED, you have to specify that upfront.

We left and have not been back since. Someone is going to get salmonella or worse from Biggie's eating rare chicken.
