Beware of downstairs bartender on Sunday nights-unless you're a single guy looking to tip big I guess.. I used to go to this place for lunch ALL the time when I worked in Creve Coeur. My co-workers and I loved it because the burgers were the best, the service was fast and friendly and the prices were cheap. I hadn't been there in years...until last Sunday night. My boyfriend and I decided to stop there for dinner and we made the mistake of sitting all the way downstairs. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very attractive, young, dark-haired bartender and a group of drunk guys playing video golf. We sat at a table about 10 feet from the bar. The bartender came to take our order (we were the only one's eating by the way) and about a minute later, she brought our drinks, great. We started watching a show on one of the TV's and got all engrossed when I noticed that 35 freaking minutes had passed!! She never came over to check on us, never went upstairs to get our food, nothing. FINALLY, the poor cook comes walking down the stairs with our food and mumbled something like "she shoulda done picked up this food". Once we got our food (which had obviosly been under heat lamps FOREVER), she went trotting up the stairs to get food for the drunk guys that had been flirting with her and playing video games with her the whole time we were waiting. My boyfriend actually tipped her $2. She would not have gotten 2 cents from me.

Great..... My girlfriends and I love to go here for lunch. It's quick and affordable. The food is GREAT. The menu has a nice variety. We find ourselves there atleast two days a week. The burgers are wonderful. If you're health concious try their cucumber wrap..it's awesome. Their daily special is always filling. And to top it off, the service is fast and friendly, they always make us feel at home.

A Hidden Gem!. This restaurant and bar brings us a friendly atmosphere with amazing food and affordable drinks. The menu includes some of the best burgers in Saint Louis along with delicious appetizers. If your craving a burger at a decent price, think about the hive. Its delicious, affordable, and you can enjoy a good drink while you take in the atmosphere of a true, small bar.
