Provider of great food, for eating in or carrying out..
The Scene
You'll find a coffee-tea-smoothie bar, bakery, humidor, wine and microbrew section, salad, wrap, and sandwich station, floral department, and deli, with items like spinach-brie crepes, grilled salmon, and a variety of gourmet pasta salads, all surrounding specialty grocery items. Standouts include the Southwest Chicken Caesar Salad, the Lavosh sandwich, and the Provisions quesadilla.
The Food
At the back of the market, tucked away behind white curtains, sits the bistro. What the space lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for in taste. Dinner is quiet compared to the Sunday brunch buffet crowd. Must-haves are the fried calamari appetizer with flash-fried spinach over polenta-encrusted portobello mushrooms, topped with goat cheese, and the New York Strip steak, stuffed with Saga Blue Cheese butter. For dessert, you're better off grabbing a gourmet goodie from the bakery on your way out.
