Overpriced, food not worth the price. I recently visited Diedorf & Hart's for a dinner meal. I had a 12oz. Boneless Strip Steak, D & H chips, and 10 oz. of sauteed portabello mushrooms as a starter. These three items totaled over $50. This was an outrageous price, but I figured hey, let's give it a shot. So I ordered my strip steak well done. Well, it came back dark on the outside and pink on the inside. I'm talking conversation heart pink. Not what I would call well done. And the steak was tough, and not at all tender. It also had no flavor to speak of. Granted, maybe I just picked a steak that was not for me, but still, well done should be well done. The D & H chips and the mushrooms were good, but not fantastic. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, it just wasn't worth the $50 price tag. Had the meal only cost me around $20 - $25, it would have been acceptable.

The atmosphere is very nice. It is a very upscale and classy place.

But I would avoid this restaurant unless you have a lot of money to burn on just slightly above average food. It is a good place to take a date if you're trying to impress someone. But the only thing impressive is the price and the atmosphere. The food is just alright.
