I think they're pretty good. We've never had any problems with DNI. We had our request approved quickly to have our fence put in. When our playground needed more mulch it was done within about 30 days, the pool's always taken care of. Everyone I talk to is nice.

Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I feel that they're expensive, but my family and I just moved from an older, large subdivision and the yearly dues were only $20 so I think we were spoiled, and the rules are a bit strict on certain things.

Overall I would recommend this company to a subdivision that doesn't want to deal with managing the properties themselves.

Part of the Conspiracy?. I rated DNI a one star only because I can't give them zero. If DNI worked for my company, they'd be fired for incompetence. When I moved back to the Barrington Downs subdivision in north county, I heard that there were a couple of residents who were not happy that single women were buying homes here and that they would often file frivilous complaints against them with the management company. I didn't believe it until I started getting letters of complaints filed against me from DNI. DNI sent very threatening letters assuming I was guilty without ever investigating or checking for facts. DNI never followed up with me when I requested proof that I violated any rules. DNI never followed up when I filed a complaint against the clubhouse management team for gross neglect and dishonesty. DNI never followed up on my request for the written rules for our subdivision. DNI never followed up on a concern that I brought to their attention regarding my grandaughter's safety. DNI is charging me personally for a repair to the clubhouse that I know nothing about. Maybe DNI is part of the conspiracy to discriminate against and/or harass single women who have homes in this subdivision.

Worst Property Managment Company. This is the worst management company. They are rude and do not keep the homeowners informed about what is going on. We pay $15,000 a year for snow and ice removal, that is $156.25 per home and it is the worse service. I would rather pay less in monthly fees and remove my own snow (which we have had to do). We pay $45,000 a year for grounds work, that is $437.09 per home to mow the grass and fertilize it. Again, I would rather pay less in monthly fees and mow my own grass. It would probably take me 30 minutes to mow my grass. I realize some would not mow, but that could be included in the indentures as a violation. We were actually told by DNI that they did not have to tell us anything because they don't answer to us they answer to the board which consists of people from the banks that own the undeveloped property. Since we are not built out at least 85% the banks rule. I have spent about 40 hours on the phone trying to find out who was on our board and I succeeded in getting names and that is who I am calling now. It is amazing what the board does not know.

DNI does not provide the services I am paying them for. My trash is never picked up...they never remove snow from my driveway...trash is all over my property...my grass is burnt and they do not care about treating it. Why am I paying$125 every month? I was late on two payments once. I wrote a letter and informed them that my father had passed. I did pay the $125 but did not include the $25 late fee twice . So I owed them $50...they sued me for almost $700..they charged me each time they sent me a notice saying I owed them $50 plus lawyers fees. How can you sue me and you are not providing me the service I am paying for. I never missed a payment and they sued me for two late fees....how can this be legal? Their service sucks and they never respond to phone calls. I have called on several occassions and never recieve a response...they need to be put out of business

Highly recommend DNI. DNI took over our community from another management company and the difference is night and day. They immediately saved us money and sat down with us to plan the future of our community. Our manager is always available and we have been very happy for over a year with the change we made. We would highly recommend DNI for management services.

A Case To Document Everything. If you like spending a lot of time trying to get through to someone or even to get anything accomplished, contact DNI Properties. It's one of those horrible necessities of living with Property Management companies that are contracted not by you, but by some "Board" they use as their shield/excuse as to why you need to call and call and call just to get cigarette butts cleaned up, or a bulb replaced on the street lamp owned by the subdivision.

Document everything! Take pictures! Write it all down. Because tomorrow, what you heard them say yesterday will be denied.

Horrible property management. This property manangement is HORRIBLE. They do not care about you. They are unprofessional, they LIE ALOT, they do their best to demean your character. They say one thing and do another.

If someone recommends them to you, I just have one word, RUN.....and don't look back. You will save yourself alot of drama, heartache and money! The people that run this property are disorganized and sloppy. If you don't believe me, go ahead and try them, you will invite a lot of heartache and stress into your life. They will drain you dry, emotionally, physically, mentally and your money, and will not be able to show for it.

Slow, disorganized and very unprofessional. I live in a condominium complex in Maryland Heights managed by DNI. I just finished writing a letter to the general manager regarding the extremely poor and slow service I received trying to have repairs done to a bedroom in my condo that was flooded in September when the remnants of hurricane Ike came through St. Louis. It's been 15 weeks and I'm still "waiting" on things to be finished. It took 3 1/2 weeks to have drywall with black mold on it removed. -- Like all the others here I had an extremely hard time getting my property manager to respond to me. I would e-mail, call, fax and eventually had to get very annoying to get any kind of response. When I did finally get responses they were mostly unhelpful. I don't understand how they can still be in business when they've obviously been functioning in such a ridiculous and unprofessional manner.

Not focused on service. I'm with the rest of you. This company is mostly screwed up. The former manager who was new on the job, was'nt responsive at all to us, and then gave up and left the company. Now they have a General Manager that doesn't seem to understand what we want, and is only interested in offering excuses and empty promises. Thanks God we were recently given a new account manager who has been there a long time and she is on the ball, or we would have to go elsewhere for our services.

not bad at all. I've been in my home for 5 years. Now, I don't a problem with them. I've learned that the board has control of the community not this company. I used to hate them but now I understand after arguing with DNI so many times over the years. Most times if the builder doesnt want something done, it wont get done. Get your facts straight. The rules are written out for everyone to see, its ultimately the board responsibility to enforce and make things happen not this company. They are there to assist the board run the neighborhood. They don't do anything without the board telling them what to do. And if the board has a builder on it, watch out! You'll never get anywhere. Honestly, DNI is a good company and they help more than hinder.
