Love the Blackened chicken!. I've only ever eaten here once but the service was great and I LOVED my meal! I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and was a little perplexed when our server told me it would be spicy.... I thought that was what blackened meant? It was explained to me that a lot of people had ordered that and then complained that it was spicy//// I guess you shouldn't order something blackened then:???.... all in all it was a great experience and a great sandwich!

Best Mushroom Swiss Sandwhich Ever. Their Mushroom Swiss is to die for. Best I've ever had & their white chicken chili is outta this world! I love to sit up on the second floor and watch the tourist walk by. Some tourist can get down out right nasty to the servers. They want their stuff then & now, no patience what so ever. What does one expect with a multi-level eatery? Deffinately quaint & close quarters, but what does one expect from a Historic District, a nice roomy place? That is what makes Historic Main Street, Historic Main Street, Want a big roomy eatery all one level go to Cracker Barrel, but I guarantee you , you'll miss out on an experience of a life time!

horrible service. With so many great restaurants in this quaint strip of St Charles I would not waste my time nor money for the experience. Our server was horrible to us but the tablr behind us with children got even crappier service which was hard to imagine. Management needs to do an overhaul.

Customer Service STINKS before you get in the door!. I called to make a reservation. I was put on hold for 20 minutes. I called with my cell phone and they answered on the first ring. I told the girl who answered the phone that I was holding on another line, her reply - HUH, So??.

I continued to hold for about 15 more minutes before someone in the kitchen picked up.

I did not go to this restaurant. If you can't show a little customer service on the phone, I can't imagine how you treat people once they manage to get inside.

Customer Service Needs Help. My family and I ate here for lunch. The view on the balcony was great!! Unfortunalty that was the best part of of our meal. Our server was rude, as if we were a waste of his time. No greeting. When we asked anything he would not verbally answer us. We should have moved to the other side where the server seemed to be doing a better job taking care of her table.

Our food took 30 min to get to our table. And all we ordered were cold sandwiches and salad?? You might think well maybe the place was having a lunch rush?? Not the case. Only one other couple that we saw.

We were never asked if our food was good by our server. Which our sandwiches were suppose to come with manyo on them. After already waiting 30 min for our order now having to wait for mayo so we could eat our meal. We were very frustrated.

When we left I talked with the door greeters telling them that we were unhappy with our service. All they had to say was , "sorry" Not a real apologetic "sorry" either. Obviously this place needs to work on customer service skills.

Food was ok but the service spoiled it!!

Dinner plate prices seem a little high for this kind of atmosphere.

Location is fun. I really enjoyed eating here. It is a great date place or a night out on the town with your girlfriends. The wait is generally pretty long though

Editorial Review. Burgers, sandwiches, pasta, seafood and draft beer from Trailhead Brewing Company served up in a traditional English pub atmosphere.

always solid. I live nearby and have come here for several years. I have several menu favorites and they're always good. I joke that I don't want to try others because it'll then take me longer to order in the future!

Best kept secret in St. Charles. This is a wonderful place to dine. Great atmopshere and the food is outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable about the area. Overall a fabulous place for two couples to have a wonderful night out together on the town.

Good Micro Brews. With micro brews from the Trail Head, the "old world" feel of down town St. Charles, and good food Lewis and Clarks is worth checking out.
