Best Manicure ever. I have been going to Oli at Beauty world fro several years. She gives the best Manicure and pedicure ever! I have had them done on cruise ships and other salons and have never found anyone else to do such a great job and the price is certainly right. She deserves more than 5 stars!!

I work here. I just read some reviews, which clearly people post the negative more than the positive! As with most of my clients you please, you don't hear anything from them because they are happy!! The world needs to point out the positive more than we do!! I have been self employed here (as most are) for more than 10 years and I have to say it is a great place to work with a brilliant concept! I love the people I work with and as with any place you do encounter some people you have to fire and we did fire them. We have a great crew in tanning and BRAND NEW BULBS I am told. So don't let a couple of young people just starting out in the work force decide for you, come in yourself! I promise I will personally give you the best service possible and offer GOD given talent at no extra cost!! My name is Terri Mckee, ask for me!! Worst Tanning Place EVER!!!. So I decided to try Beauty World in St. Charles, right by TJ Max. Their tans are only $2.50 so I thought it woudn't hurt to give them a try. The girls in the tanning part are RUDE! They don't greet you, they don't say anything when you leave, and they are either too busy eating or talking about some lame guys to take care of their customers. I went in one day and the girl was eating and talking with another employee about some guy. I waited about 2 minutes before she acknowledged me. She was some fat blonde chick. She was so rude! I waited their holding my ticket. My friend, who has never been tanning, went with my once. They didn't even show her how to use the beds or tell her anything about them. I know it's easy, but it's their job to show them! I had to take her to the room and show her what to do. I'm not sure how other places are, but I would never recommend this place for tanning. I went about a week almost everyday and i was greeted one time and when I left no one ever said thank you or bye or anything. Those fat lazy chicks are nasty rude. DO NOT GO THERE! The only reason they even got one star rating was because you have to give something.

every stylist is different. My hair had gone through so much damage. Trying new colors and ideas with inexperienced stylists.

Claiming to be the best and charging what the best should charge only to fry my hair or turn it to mush. I went to Barb Speak, then she was Barb Holland by a referral. I was very scared. She was unbelieveably the most professional, down to earth, stylist. She talked to me about everything we would be doing, until I was comfortable. Never made me feel rushed. I absolutely loved everything she did and has done for me ever since. My hair has never felt better. "Barb Speak" ask for her, you will be happy you did.

A so-so salon. beauty world is an ok salon not horrible like a fantasic sams but definatly NOT what its prices claim it is. I pay good money to get my hair done because I change it so much colors, length, styles ect. I thought it would be a good place to go. Its prices were similar to most of the other salons. But save your money they are not the same. I wanted really dark hair like almost black and i left with chestnut. She tried telling me it would later "darken up" when she saw i was displeased. Didn't offer to redo it or anything. Then I went to get my eyebrows done and it was $17 BEFORE tip and I left with little catapliiars looked kinda like this ~ ~

Wonderful Stylists. How lucky I have been to stumble upon Beauty World -- specifically Dana Schmidt. Dana has been my stylist for a while now, and the best thing about her is she knows exactly what to do with my hair. I love having a stylist who can look at my hair, decide what would look great for me in regard to color or style, then do it! She takes the utmost care and time when working with me and I feel she truly cares about the end result -- in other words, I'm not just another customer. She makes me feel like THE most important customer!
