Love it!. As I often do, coming from out of town I find some really delightful places to eat - then take my sister and brother-in-law to them (and they live in the area). I prefer to stay away from the chains and El Tio Pepe is a great departure from chain-restaurant food. All the dishes I have had here (and the one that burned down in St Peters) have been tasty and good value for the money. I haven't been disappointed.

Favorite place to eat!.
This is the best Mexican food I have ever had -- maybe the best food I have ever had in general!
The chimichanga is the BEST! I could eat one every day.
The prices are great, not too expensive, and the portions are pretty big. The food is delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Mexican.

Best mexican food anywhere!. This is a great restaraunt! For a very inexpensive price, they cook your food while you wait... no precooked stuff here! Everything comes out hot and fresh, quality ingredients, great taste!! Service is quick and friendly - genuinely famliy run and a great family at that. We have tried many mexican restaraunts as there are many, but none as good as this!!
