My wife lost the stone in her wedding ring. We went into Indigo Jewelers to replace it simply because it was the closest place to our home, having no idea that the owner, Michael Meneger, is a trained jeweler with forty years experience behind him and a suite of satisfied regular customers. He examined the ring while listening to our needs and gave us a very reasonable quote. It was so reasonable, in fact, that we decided to upgrade the stone and the setting. Within a week he'd found a number of beautiful stones for us to evaluate in the cut that we'd asked for. We chose one and within five days the ring was repaired. We were stunned when we saw it. He'd set the stone perfectly and buffed and polished the band so that quite honestly, it looked better than new. My wife spent the rest of the day admiring it on her hand and she could not be happier. We can't recommend him highly enough. He is an old-school jeweler with a quick wit and sense of decorum, quite different than the less experienced salespeople one might run into in the large chains.

The entire staff incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Felicia and Michael took their time to listen to what I wanted and gave wonderful suggestions to help me pick the perfect ring for my fiance. The level of care and craftsmanship put into the ring shows. You can truly feel the compassion and true desire to ensure you get the best product for your dollar and you leave with a product with unmatched quality.

I want to thank Michael and Felicia for their excellent customer service. I had lost the diamond out of my wedding band that I had for 17 years. I was looking to get a new diamond and setting and to change the color of my existing yellow gold bands to white gold. As I had never bought a diamond before and a lot had changed in the industry in 17 years there was a lot a did not know. They were so very patient with me, teaching me about diamonds and answering all my questions. They never made me feel unimportant just because I wasn't one of their wealthier customers. They still spent hours with me showing me different diamonds in my price range. Unlike other places I went, Micheal and Felicia NEVER showed me anything ABOVE my price range. In fact they were able to find exactly the look I wanted BELOW the price I gave them. I truly appreciate that they didn't pressure me in that way! Then when I finally decided on a Tuesday morning what I wanted I left my band there and remarkably they had it back to me on Wednesday evening of the same week! They understood my sadness of losing my first ever diamond and were there to pick up my spirits and make a sad situation turn out to be a fun memory. We have gone to Indigo Jewelers for over 10 years. Michael's attention to detail and one on one service is second to none. Five years ago we moved out of the St. Louis area, but still make the drive back whenever we are looking for a unique gift or need repair on any of our jewelry.

MICHAEL AND HIS STAFF WERE WITHOUT DOUBT PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL IN EVERY WAY. I WALKED AWAY WITH A BEAUTIFUL RING FOR MY WIFE AND FELT SO GOOD THAT I WAS EMOTIONAL THAT I WAS TREATED SO WELL. My Cartier Roadster automatic watch began losing a few minutes every day, so I took it to Mick to get it repaired. He did such an excellent job that I took my Grandfather's gold Elgin pocket watch, (which hadn't run in years), to see if he could work his magic on an antique watch, and sure enough, he repaired that watch as well - both watches now keep perfect time -- I would recommend Mick, and Indigo, to anyone who is looking for professional, high quality watch repair.

My family has taken our jewelry to Michael for repairs for years, and he has always bent over backwards to accommodate us. Now recently my boyfriend-turned-fiancé connived with Michael and bought me the most beautiful engagement ring. The customer service has always been top notch, and Michael has always treated us with the utmost courtesy and respect, no matter that we aren't among his more wealthy clientele. And even though I now live in south St. Louis, I won't go anywhere else!

I took in two rings to have the stones set, one had been tricky and had fallen out several times. Almost lost the stone in a parking lot once. Michael got it taken care of for me as well as taking care of another tricky setting. He's not the cheapest you'll find but he's worth the cost.
