I just got the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. I wanted long side swept bangs and left with short bangs and about 40 percent of my really long hair hacked off. The layers are the ugliest thing I have ever seen. My hair was to the small of my back (not anymore!!!!!!) and the shortest layers are about 21/2 to 3 inches long. Too short to even be curled. I cannot believe this happened. After crying and throwing up I went straight to the pharmacy for prenatal vitamins so hopefully it will grow back faster. I figure I am screwed for about the next year. . . . Maybe okay for a massage, but do NOT get your hair cut here!!!! By the way it was a master stylist so I paid more. . .
Best spa ever. I have been to Salon de christe' a few times and all I can say is you get what you pay for!!! I love it there, eneryone is so nice, the owners are always there it seems, and everyone semms to love it there. Go there your love it!!
I'm in my early 20s and, for whatever reason, every other salon I've been to in the area insists on giving me my mom's haircut. At Salon De Christe (I visited their St. Charles location a few weeks ago), my stylist gave me an edgier cut that actually made me feel my age (and looks awesome when styled straight) but that is also very managable and low-maintenance (I have curly hair that I usually just wash-and-wear). This is the first time that my request for side-swept bangs and dramatic layers has actually resulted in a great cut! Salon De Christe also has different price ranges, corresponding to their stylists' experience. My cut was $35, and I can tell you, I've paid a lot more for a lot less.
Beautiful facility as well!
Great experience for Men!. I have curly hair, which everyone that has this genetic curse would agree with me, that it's hard to impossible to get it cut correctly. Salon De Christe is a blessing to this impossible mission. They actually take the time to listen to how you would like your hair to be and examine the possibilities, instead of just knodding their heads and cutting away to get you in and out like an hair cutting essembly line. I highly recommend them to anyone that feels like they can't find anyone that understands what they want done to their hair!
