Do not go to Six Flags unless you don't care about how much money you will spend!. I do not recommend going to this Six Flags, especially during Fright Fest. We went at the beginning of the summer and it was great, absolutely no lines in any of the rides, and we closed down the park. We went last weekend and it was awful. Every single ride was at least an hour to an hour and a half wait in line, half of the rides cost extra money, almost all of the "haunted" events cost extra money, some of the places to eat were not open, and the ones that were open were ridiculously slow. We ate at the Mooselodge, and the line was out the door, they had 3 registers, but only one employee working one, she was older and extremely unaffected by how many people were in line waiting. We probably waited in line just to order our food for about 45 minutes. The food was extremely expensive, it was $10.99 for a chicken sandwich and fries, and no drink was included. The employees were not friendly or helpfull, I noticed that none of them seemed to hurry in any way, and at times, they seemed to chit chat betweeen each other instead of doing their job. All in all, it really sucked! We will never go back for Fright Fest!

Great for coaster lovers!. Six Flags St. Louis is an amazing theme park with awesome rides for pepole who love roller coasters like i do. There are many reviews on here saying how its "expensive" but trust me, there are good ways to save.

1. Even if you plan to go even more than 1 time, BUY A SEASON PASS

= You don't have to wait in line to buy tickets

= After one day's ticket it only costs $40 to upgrade

= It pays for itself in less that two visits.

= With every thing you purchase at the parks you automatically get 15% off.

= Buy season parking it will be well worth it.

= Your season pass comes with $300 worth of coupons.

= Your pass is valuable at any park that has the Six Flags name.

= Plus you get much much more...

= Buy a 2008 cup and the first day you buy it you get unlimited free refills, and then after you get 99c refills

not for value-seeking families. My husband and I took my sister and her kids when they were visiting from MI. While my 16-yr-old niece is a coaster NUT and can go all day, my 13-yr-old nephew has a relatively weak stomach and can only go on certain kinds of coasters, and that only every 30-45 minutes. While waiting for stomach to settle, looked for other things to do, but most non-coasters cost more. No info on website (that I could find) about what rides are NOT included in admission price, and there are a LOT. Had a hard time keeping nephew entertained. And because they're now searching bags when you enter, you really can't take in food, so you're forced to pay outrageious food prices: $3.25 water, $5.99 "large" soda (looks like a medium elsewhere) + $2 refills, etc. And no straw! Disney World is a better value!

Bring MONEY!!!. Very expensive! At least half the rides cost extra money, the food is expensive, and a bottle of water is $3!!! Take the $400 you will spend, and spend a weekend somewhere else!
