Excellent Bar-B-Q. went out to eat today. I wanted to try someplace that I have never been before. Ive heard about Ethyls Smokehouse in OFallon so I thought I would give them a try.

I had the ETHYLS BURGER w/Fries for $7.29 and a couple of Budweiser Selects. The burger was cooked well and the meat tasted very fresh. It obviously was a fresh made patty not pre-made.

I also ordered the 3 RIB LUNCH with warm potato salad To-Go. I had this for dinner. The ribs were tender and tasty. The BBQ sauce was pleasant. The potato salad was very good. The potatoes were the predominant flavor and the dressing didn't cover them. This was one of the better potato salads I have found.

** Since writing this original post I have dined at Ethyl's several times both at the restaurant and carry-out. The food both ways has been excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. My current favorite is their pork steak dinner but I am working my way through their menu, trying different items each time I go back.
