Very happy with my recent visit to Arnold, Mo America's Best.
Thumbs up from me. I read several negative reviews concerning America's Best but my stepdaugher has been getting her exams and glasses from there for several years so I decided to give it a try and
put my review on here whether negative or positive.
I was greeted within a minute of walking in, there were several people looking at glasses and one seated trying hers on. I was told I could look around at the selection while I waited to see the Dr after I finished my paperwork, the prices were well displayed and the selection was satisfactory. I chose three frames and the lady at the counter held on to them when I went back for my eye exam.
I only waited about 10-15 minutes to see the dr. After the negative reviews I had read, I expected a quick and speedy careless exam but instead I was quite surprised. Dr. James Cunningham took his time, communicated well with me and did a thourough examination. I did not feel rushed at all and after the examination, I went back out to try on the frames I had chosen. I was told that one pair would not work with the plastic lenses that I planned on purchasing, I was thankful for the consultant being honest and up front about my choice in frames, as I had chose 2 pair by then that were different prices so my total would be $89.00 instead of the advertised $69.00 for 2 pair.
Nichole assisted me, I was told my glasses would be ready in about a week. I did receive a call in 7 days, I was satisfied with how my glasses fit and could read the small print on the desk immediately and was on my way. It has been 2 weeks and I love both pair, they look great, I have received many compliments and I can see much better.
Thank you for treating me like a valued customer and giving me great quality glasses.…
Typical bait and switch.
Being in school and on a tight budget, I decided to go with 2 pairs for 99. Knowing I needed progressive lenses figures I'd pay a bit more. But holy lord!
Ended up paying 300 for lenses only in my frames! If I would have gotten 2 pair w/ progressive lenses it would have been over 400 dollars. They said well we can do one pair of glasses for 330! What happened to the 2 for 99?
Typical, for the low end precription that you don't need. So I say lets go cheapest...so we wnd up using my old frames and their lenses 90 each, not to mention since I didn't get the twofer deal I had to pay for the exam.
This is so typical of these over priced chain stores! RIP OFF DON'T GO THERE.…
