First day of volleyball I waited 15 mins for the bartender to quit trying to get his dick wet with two girls (the only other people at the bar) When my team mates came to ask what why it was taking so long to check out a ball, I said "shitty service tonight." Of course the bartender was paying attention now, and he got an attitude and told me to leave. Overall this place just isn't worth it. Its not even in a decent part of Soulard. Spend your time and money somewhere across the street where they will appreciate your business. On a side not, I too am a recently seperated veteran, so from reading other reviews I can see a trend.
St Louis's Worst Bar Not Friendly to Vets.. Just returened back from Iraq. I don't have a wife or kid at home. I am 28 years old. My friends met me at the airport. First time i had been in from Cocoa Beach in 2 years to St Louis where all of my familys from Go Class of 97 from Mehlville. My friends took me out drinking for a surprise. That I was. I was wearing won of the new camo navy uniforms. and he would let me in. He (Bill Hutchings) advised me they didnt allow hunting gear. I advised him im on leave from the Navy. This is my uniform. He advised me either way we dont allow hicks in here and we dont accept Conferderate money. We left outraged went to hotshots and had a great time. But this guy Bill is not an American. He is a hateful communist.
That is a lie, we are pro military and give drink and food specials to all who serve. I do recognize your name as an ex employee though. I do know for a fact that you were never in the military in any capacity.
Bar 101 Soulard = Awesome. Definantly the best bar around, I have never had fun like i do there..... highly recommended...! It has a crowd of variety. everyone is there to have a good time. 5 star
Patio Paradise. Looking for place to go for volleyball? We found it at Bar 101 Soulard. They have two sand volleyball courts and the fun just starts there! Outdoor bar where you can watch the cardinals game, industry specials that are out of this world and a fun crowd to mingle with. Inside has hd tvs, a projection tv and two more bars. If you"re into sports, this is finally a sports bar you can get into! Go Cards!

Great food, great drink specials, great volleyball!!!!!.
Bar 101 is an excellent place for lunch, volleyball, or just partying at night. Food is excellent. Volleyball leagues really bring the place to life on weeknights. Lots of really cool and fun people.
Highly recommended, it is a breath of fresh air from some of the normal places. You won't be disappointed
Terrific Lunches and Enjoyable Servers. Have great sand volleyball courts and leagues. Love the large dance floor and large patio. The food is terrific and very reasonable. Great place for lunch.
THIS PLACE IS HUGE. I had heard of Bar101, but didn't go there till this spring. I walked in and was shocked. The patio/beergarden is huge. 32,000sq.ft. It has an outdoor stage, big bar, sand volleyball courts. They actually have a slip n slide on the weekends. The customers and workers are pleasant, that is a nice change. They have a free shuttle to the games. Big screens, washers, bags, sand dodgeball and more. Private party rooms and cabanas. Yes I am partial, I play dodgeball there 3 times a week and I love the place. Want something unique to stl. Check out 101
