Big Let Down.... After reading the other reviews about Abigail's, I was very excited to go in for my first appointment. I have been searching for a salon in St. Louis for some time now, and after reading all of the wonderful reviews I was hoping I had found my place.

I looked online and found a groupon "now" for the salon- even better! After buying the groupon I went to Abigail's on De Mun website. On the home page it said " for groupon hair contact Danielle". I called Danielle to schedule the haircut/ style and from first impression she seemed unenthusiastic and unfriendly. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and schedule an appointment anyway.

When I walked into the salon, she said hello and asked who I was looking. I answered, " Hi I am here for a haircut with Danielle." Without even asking my name, she summoned me over to her chair and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted to keep my hair long, but I wanted her input on what she thought was best. She responded by telling me we would wash my hair first and then figure it out. She then said that I had just missed the rush and they had been slammed all day. Thinking that would be a good thing at a salon I said "wow, that's great", and she responded back, "not so much". She then said she was looking forward to having a small break after my appointment where she could grab a bite to eat. I understand that she must have been hungry, but COME ON, it was my first visit and she made me feel COMPLETELY unwelcome as if I were a burden for her. For someone working in an service industry, she was very unprofessional. After the wash, she dried my hair and then cut it. Never have I had a cut done completely with my hair dry.

Then in the end when I presented my groupon she told me she was not the one running the deal so she wasn't sure what to do about it. I had called her specifically because I had bought the groupon, and even mentioned it in our initial phone conversation. After an awkward moment she finally said she would take the number and then have the girl who ran the deal pay her the $30.

I left annoyed and disappointed with the whole experience and haircut. Maybe the other girls at Abigail's are better, but Danielle was unprofessional and unfriendly.

You want it? Abigail's has it!. I've been going to Abigail's for a year now and this place is it! Abby herself and all who work with her are so AWESOME! You feel as if you're sitting down with your best friend who has your looks, your interest, your wildest dreams at heart! Everytime I return to work at St. Mary's hopital across the street, after a visit at Abigail's everyone notices. I am overwhelmed with ohhs, awes and questions about who does my hairstyles and colors.

Abigail's is located on my favorite little street of DeMun, filled with it's own beauty and attractive little restraunts and shops.

You just have to experience Abigail's for yourself. Whether you create a hairsyle for them or let them create one for you, you'll be super satisfied!!! I love you, Abigail's and am forever grateful I found you!

I love Abigail's!!!. Hello St. Louis! I have been living in St. Louis now for 7 years and had been seeking out a place that is resonably priced that would do my hair the way I want it done. I stumbled across Abigail's on De Mun while walking in Clayton one day and decided to give it a go. I have not gone anywhere since!!!! I am a very busy gal who loves to experiment with different hairstyles. Every time I take a new look into Abigail's I walk out feeling fantastic and very satisfied. Sometimes I like to experiment with different colorings and I LOVE short fun hairstyles. I have recommended Abigail's to my friends and they too are just as elated with Abigail's abilities as I am!! In fact one of the friends I recommended their just had her whole wedding parties hairstyles done there and they were all fantastic!!!! I will never cheat on Abby! I can't say enough great things about this shop; I 100% recommend giving this shop a chance. You will not go anywhere else after!

Great place to walk out feeling BEAUTIFUL!!. Abigail's on DeMun is a salon that not only makes oyu feel comfortable it makes oyu feel fabulous when you leave. The girls are friendly, and professional
